Let's try to pick a worse slam. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any. Last year's? I'd take last year's AO over this year's any day.

Maria probably has a better chance of beating Serena.
But ... come on, three sets, Kim.

Well Maria played really well and she looked hot in the process.
Nice departing words from Kim. I'll miss her. It's just a shame how she ended up with trash fans like Hagar, gurl_tennis, and angele.
Don't fuck things up in the final against Reenus, Maria.

There has never been a player in the history of sports who gives more BORING interviews than Sharapova.

Petrova never has, and never will, win a meaningful match against a top player at a slam. Period. Yes she did. She knocked Capriati out of RG when Cap was still a real contender, just 2 years after Cap won the tite there.

I decided to root for Serena now. I can't help but admire the fact that she can reach a Slam final when she's so out of shape and practice. Yes, she has a big mouth, but she's delivering, too. And it's started to become a little bit fun to watch her, big butt and all, mow down the sleek Barbies one after the other.
Not to mention, I seriously can't stand that boring, empty commercial vessel posing as a human being, the screech queen.

Cara Black (ZIM)[3]/Liezel Huber (RSA)[3] vs. Yung-Jan Chan (TPE)/Chia-Jung Chuang (TPE) -- this is an incredibly cool final!
and so is this semifinal:
Daniel Nestor (CAN)/ Elena "I'm still playing" Likhovtseva (RUS) vs. Kevin Ullyett (ZIM)[7]/Liezel Huber (RSA)[7]

Nadia remains horrible, though.

ESPN better replay this Roddick match a handful of times like they replay his early round squashes.
Damn, was Dick's serve really really off or something? I hope this destroys him.

Leelee, it seems you've turned on Andy. This is more shocking than Goldenlox turning on Maria! I saw that coming. But not your turning on Andy. As for the 2007 Australian Open ladies final Maria Sharapova needs to clean up her serve for her to beat the imposing Serena Williams in the final. She got away with some double faults against Kim Clijsters. But Serena is on a major roll and won't let Masha get away with the double faults the way Clijsters did. Unfortunately I think Williams will win in straight sets. LOL @ Dina's post! ;D That was so funny to read. Janie, you say you're going to root for Serena over Maria. That's fine. Yet you admit Serena has a big mouth and Masha says nothing. I didn't think you preferred those who brag. My favorite Serena quote at this tears Australian Open is "I'm my biggest fan". LMAO! ;D You can't make this stuff up. You would never hear Maria talk about herself this way. If she did she would be skewered for it. But no one other than me even brings up the absurdity of Serena saying it. The men's Australian Open tournament has been saved by Gonzalez and Haas. Let's hope one of them can give Federer a good match in the final. I'm sad for Andy Roddick. I never expected him to be humiliated like this. I expected him to lose to Federer. But not like this.

I'm on neither side of the fence with Roddick. My fangirlism at MTF was pure trolling. I don't mind watching him. But, he definitely is a jerk. And ESPN's love with him gets sickening.
