Tommy doesn't look like he has much of a chance out there tonight ... this has been an epic beatdown so far. Gonzalez has an amazing 21 winners to ONE unforced error.

Now the ratio is 32/3. This might be over before I go to sleep, which won't be too long from now ...

WOW GONZO!!!!! El fantastico! And huge congrats to the wily veteran team that won the Championship: Likhotseva & Huber! Who again reminded the world that being old is GOOD in doubles.

Nothing against Roger, but I hope Gonzo wins. That would be just what tennis needs.
At the firm yesterday, two of the attorneys were talking about the tennis, and one old guy was raving about "Francisco Gonzalez." So he's making a name for himself! The wrong name, but still.

Maybe you should have gently corrected him that it's Fernando Gonzalez not Francisco Gonzalez. While I'm rooting for Maria Sharapova to win the 2007 Australian Open title, I think Serena Williams who is on a magic carpet ride of a roll will defeat Sharapova 6-4 6-3. I hope the final is well played and avoids controversy. Udachi Maria!

Gonzo had 42 winners, and 3 THREE 3 UE's.
That's like impossible. Even in a video game.
If the finalists both play like they did in the SF... we got ourselves the greatest match in history.

But you know that isn't' going to happen. If Roger Federer plays a good match and Fernando Gonzalez plays a great match it will indeed be a match and Australian Open final to remember. I'm hoping for a 2005 Australian Open Federer/Safin semifinal kind of match between Federer and Gonzalez in this years Australian Open final. With the same result of Federer losing a great match.

Yeah, I know it won't. Gorila will likely suck.
