What about Norman and Vinciguerra? Forgotten so soon already

Thomas is doing pretty good on clay this season, he's beating players he should beat and losing to Ferrer, Davydenko, etc. Maybe he should've beaten Lisnard

Burgsmuller is serving really well. That probably won't be enough since he has no chance in Rafael's service games.

What about Norman and Vinciguerra? Forgotten so soon already I don't know. I haven't read the article yet. I'm sure they'll be mentioned.

ToJo would be pretty good on clay if he knew how to move on it properly. He said so himself True enough, but his game is much better suited for it than the big-serving/ball-bashing style of his younger compatriots.

I was just going to say that ol' Larsy was putting up a decent fight here in the second set Maybe he has a chance in a TB if he makes it... Suddenly Ancic can't play a point in a few shots; this third set has dragged on and on and on and its into a TB. Gah! Finish it, already! Serra is beating the tar out of Pavel, that's pretty surprising

Ancic wins 62 61 76(4) I'm going to watch more of the Feds match and whatever else they hoist on me; I'll be back in a little while. Gasquet if he starts before I return

It's sad to see Nastya struggling like this. MASL doesn't exactly look like a world-beater. Now maybe Nastya is picking it up a bit -- probably also now we will see MASL worsen, in classic Hidden Worlder fashion!

Ascione gags in inimitable French style from two sets to love up and 4-1 up in the deciding set, to lose 3-6, 5-7, 6-0, 6-3, 6-4 to Sanguinetti. 40 winners from both men set against a combined total of 182 unforced errors (99 for Ascione), there's a quality encounter I would have loved to watch!

Woh, Nalbandian's started already and has been broken by Baghdatis? And Henman has got an early break against Brzezicki and managed to lose it already? That's our Tim!

There was a sad story about Nastya yesterday, Janie -- apparently her mum is seriously ill and her heart is not really in it.

So many good matches and I'm missing 'em... most are on untelevised courts, though, so even if Eurosport wasn't in the middle of its two-hour cycling cycle, I wouldn't be able to see them. Schedulers: well done for putting the defending champion on Chatrier, but sticking last year's semifinalists out on the outside courts for their opening rounds? Come on.
