Yohoiii!!! ich bin wieder da! *nibbles on leftover paella* Well Doris, i got ice cream alright, how about a choice of Movenpick's Straciatella, Caramellita, Pistacchio and their latest, Tiramisu. Then i got some Basler Leckerli for the occasion, plus some Amicelli & Bounty's Calapuno. Got caught in the rain on the way back (low grey clouds hanging over Bern) but what the heck, might as well make the best out of this waiting game... Yeah, Aleta, yesterday on both ARD & RSF it was POPPing all over!

Hi guys! It's another scorcher here... 31C humid, sunny... just watering the lawn and garden... I knew you'd be snacking, Mrs. B.!! Tiramisu? Is it good? I'll have to try it!! Just had breakie... while working... THIS IS SO BORING! As Rogi w say... just heard Sjeng on BBC Radio saying that he thinks Rogi is the guy to win Wimby this year... if not, next yr... he IS a nice guy and has lots of respect for ROGI -- he s know, he's played him many times and been beaten by him... he said really complimentary things about Rogi after DC. Come on... rain go away!

hmmm, might as well go for the Tiramisu ice cream as i've never had this, it's Movenpick's new thing. Lemme tell yah in 10 minutes, RogiFan.
funny weather here in Bern. Patches of blue skies, but mainly cloudy, t'was pouring 10 minutes ago now it's sunny. quite a drastic change from all that humidity. well at least i don't have to water my plants.
C'monnnn Wimbledon! Let's get it on!!!!

Yumm--- that Tiramisu taste like Tiramisu except it's creamier and colder! LOL! Goes pretty well with a piece of Basler leckerli, too.
Maple & Walnut is one of my faves as well but i'll eat Straciatella any given day.
HOPP, ROGER!!!!

first set, 6-3 Goo, Roger, Goooo!!!!! Keep going ROGI!! Looking good! First set Federer 6-3 0-0 Schalken This quarter-final between fourth seed Federer and eighth seed Schalken is the only one that has followed the original seedings but Federer is well in command now. He does not drop a point in the game as he serves out for the first set. Federer 5-3 Schalken Schalken goes 40-0 up - he is pegged back to 40-30 but wins the next point to hold and hang on in the set. Federer 5-2 Schalken After a day and a half of gloom, the sun finally shines over Wimbledon again although there is a breeze blowing across Court Two. Federer, meanwhile, breezes through his service game. Federer 4-2 Schalken Federer has made an excellent start - Schalken in not playing badly but Federer is timing his shots perfectly and coming up with plenty of winners. The Swiss player earns himself a break point but Schalken saves it with a blistering forehand and goes on to hold. Federer 4-1 Schalken Federer produces a flawless service game to consolidate his break without dropping a point. Federer 3-1 Schalken Federer is the more consistent of the two players at the moment, outrallying his Dutch opponent. Schalken overhits a backhand to give Federer two break points. One goes begging but a beautiful backhand down the line gives Federer the early break. Federer 2-1 Schalken Another straightforward hold for Federer. Both players have had their injury fears coming into this game - Federer with his back, Schalken with his left foot - but both look to be holding up well. Federer 1-1 Schalken Schalken also has an solid first service game, finishing off with an ace. Federer 1-0 Schalken Despite opening the match with a double-fault, Federer enjoys a comfortable first game, serving two aces. news.bbc.co.uk

Roger's broke Sjeng and now leads 5-3, 2nd set. During changeover Schalken called for the trainer who gave him pills.
