The word on the street is that the late afternoon matches have been postponed until Monday, including Sexxpanek-Gorila.

Why don't they so on the site yet, then? I hate when the street beats the site.

Thomas Blake is not a good announcer.
And Tzvetana is leading in her hopes of a Sistahz double.

By the way, Brinyi, you've got to find a new street! Your current street has false info. It is Rue Tort!

"Pironkova breaks in the opening game of the second set and Serena is in real trouble now. In the change of ends between at the end of the first set Serena gave herself time to have a little cry but she'll need to do more than that if she is planning not to be a first day casualty at Roland Garros."

Ah, the LATE afternoon matches. I see.
But tennis channel web site says live stream resumes tomorrow, because play is cancelled for today. They need to check in with your street, Rue Raison.

Pironkova served for the first set for the first time at 5-2 ... so even though she won the first set, she was obviously not exactly dominating. Wonder how many set points she blew before closing it out.

Pironkova's FH is a really useless shot. On the rare occasion she doesn't net it, it's so soft and loopy that Serena can just tee off on it.
Her BH's awesome though.

Pironkova wins a game!
The last game of the first set was TOTAL JOKES - I think it went routine Serena FH 5 miles long, netted second serve return, netted second serve return, BH long after Serena tripped over her own feet.
