...Really? www.wimbledon.org/en_GB/news/match_reports/2007-06-27/200706271182962644656.htmlJelena Jankovic wasted little time in dispatching Jamila Gajdosova 6-1, 6-1 in just 48 minutes to stay on course for her second Grand Slam final inside a month.
Jankovic, the third seed and runner-up at the French Open two weekends ago, looked in complete command as she eased herself into the third round with a display of power tennis which left the 20-year-old Slovak stunned.Really. Really? ...Really? They fixed it

Heh. I guess those Serbian girls are all alike, like those Hispanic players.
Oh, and Wimbledon blows.

Bremond won a match today, improving to 6-17 on the season. She really needs it to come together here ...

Wimbledon was fun today! I am slightly bedraggled, slightly drunk and very fucking fatigued.
I...will report tomorrow. Sleep. Sadly, we managed to miss Muller's first flawless, glorious step on her imperious passage to the Wimbledon crown.

Mighty Mouse double bagelled Smashnova. I'd celebrate but I am afraid Anna might have had some personal tragedy that explains the scoreline and I would feel terrible for a couple of hours. This was Anna's last match ever. So it's a personal victory for all of us, isn't it? Too right. Ended her career in the most fitting way. No complaints about the coverage for once. SportTV began by showing the 1st set of Ivanovic, which went by in something like 10 mins (what the hell happened in the 2nd?) while Molik and Serena were warming up, and then remained in Court 1. Once the rain began they showed Hingis and then Jankovic taped. I suppose Serena's hystrionics would be amusing if I was a fan. I don't think Molik choked. The score of the first set is actually flattering to her. But she played very, very smart. Made Serena look like a bumbling idiot at times, which is always good to see. Read the "fatigue" thread. Jankovic complains of an empty tank. Nobody would think so the way she's moving. It's amazing; she looks faster every time I see her play. Forward, backwards, from side to side. Wow. Judging by the stats, Azarenka is playing very well. If she doesn't choke (a big if) she'll probably reach the 4R, considering how crap Vaidisova is on grass. Molik's blog is da shit. She actually tells us what she's wearing.

Anna had a fine career, and was an inspiration for all on tour.
Her record in finals was astounding. And she was one of the best in Tier IV tournaments.

I've never heard that she was.
How a player is off-court is none of my business, anyway.

I've never heard that she was. How a player is off-court is none of my business, anyway. No, oncourt. Had a nasty spat with Golovin at the USO once, and at WTAW they posted a news piece about her trying to hit her opponent's coach with the ball back in 2001. Also I remember reading some stuff from fans who tried to reach her and she just shoved them aside.

The US Open spat with Golovin was because Tati screamed out in victory in the middle of a point when she thought she got a favorable call, which in turn distracted Anna and then when Tati realized the point wasn't over, she regrouped and won the point. Or something elaborate like that. There's a video on YouTube or something. Kinda funny.
