ANDY RODDICK'S PREDICTON (a little snide, maybe, but we can forgive him under the circumstances)
Q. How do you think he's going to do against Federer in the next round?
ANDY RODDICK: Well, considering it's 8:00 in the evening right now, Roger's played for an hour in the last week, I'm going to go out on a limb and say Roger's probably the fresher of the two.
You know, it was kind of an emotional up and down with the rain, with that match, with everything. I'm going to go out on the limb again and say he's probably fresher mentally, as well.
I don't know if that bodes well for Richard.

Carried over from my comment in the other thread ... God is definitely spiting me. I've actually convinced myself that this is Nadal's year. Like, somewhere in there I realize that unless Federer gets run over, that it's not. But I'm still holding out that ridiculous hope. Why am I doing this to myself?
Oh, and Bartoli is going to win too.

You have no idea how much God has been spiting me lately. He/she/it may as well just pee on the entire tournament. Or even better, have it rain all weekend! Now, that actually would be awesome.

You could probably blame me, because during Bartoli-Henin I was thinking how you do sometimes get surprise semifinalists, and they're often players I like like Likhovtseva or whatever but how they always crumble in the semi and normality is restored but I was praying that just for once it would be great if normality wasn't restored and they could go that one step further and get to the final, and I was thinking this at around 5-5 in the second which is when normality was most likely to be restored.
But then I don't really see how anyone could dislike Marion except wtaworld tards.

Wimbledon men's semis, not televised? What a farce. Nice start for Djoko.

Wimbledon men's semis, not televised? What a farce. Nice start for Djoko. I feel for the lot of you. No Bartoli-Henin and now no men's semis? Thankfully I have coverage. And no work. ;D

Anyway, Fed and Nadal are now both taking over. No surprises here. I'd still like to be able to watch, but it's not like we're missing seeing an upset brewing. Unfortunately!

I'm so glad he's back from his village. He knows exactly how I like my eggs in the morning, so I'm having breakfast more often now. And no, I am not spoilt or pampered in the least.

Anyway, Fed and Nadal are now both taking over. No surprises here. I'd still like to be able to watch, but it's not like we're missing seeing an upset brewing. Unfortunately! Gassy started out better than Federer but couldn't do anything on the breakpoints he had early on. At 5-6, he played just the slightest bit looser than he had been earlier on and Roger immediately took charge, cut down his errors, and here we are. I'm hoping it ends soon, so the women's final starts on time.

Roger wins the second set and Gassy calls the trainer. Now he's taken off his shoe and rolled down his sock. The camera is zooming in on his ankle and heel. Now he's changing his shirt and we have to watch him change. Now we're back to looking at his foot. His toes are still covered by his sock.
Wow, that was interesting.

Wow, the trainer still hasn't come on court. The commentators are expressing their disappointment and the tardiness of the trainer. Oh, our trainer has arrived in a red shit and capris. No predominantly white.

He's taking the medical timeout. It's his left ankle.

There's loud whistling because Federer is changing his shirt. The whistling started while the camera was zooming in on Gasquet's foot and toes, which is why I initially didn't understand what the catcalling was for. Oh, and all these updates are for Janie so she doesn't think her scoreboard's acting up.

Nadal wins 3-6, 6-1, 4-1. :s Djoko has a problem with his toe. Fed said in his interview that he noticed Novak had physical problems in the lockerroom so he expected him to struggle against Rafa.

Here's some more material for you kids to bash Roger. He said he knew Djoko would struggle because of the injury even though this is grass and not clay. [I'm paraphrasing from what I remember]. Marion holding flowers Allez
