www.usopen.org/en_US/scores/draws/ws/r1s1.htmlSo, potential 4R match-ups are: (1) Henin vs (15) Safina (10) Bartoli vs (8) S. Williams (3) Jankovic vs (14) Dementieva (12) V. Williams vs (5) Ivanovic (7) Petrova vs (9) Hantuchova (16) Hingis vs (4) Kuznetsova (6) Chakvetadze vs (11) Schnyder (13) Vaidisova vs (2) Sharapova, to Corswandt's delight So, another Henin vs S.Williams QF. Justine, the sistahs, Jankovic and Ivanovic all in the top half. The 3rd quarter is a joke. Should be fun.

Oh God, I think Joana's prediction of S. Williams (8) def. Sharapova (2) 6-0 6-0 in the final is about to come to pass...

And why can't Tina get these draws in Australia where she doesn't SUCK?

Bottom Half:
Petrova-Bacsinszky in the first round! The winner to play Savchuk possibly ... and the winner of that to play maybe Krajicek or Szavay. OK, the quarter is top-weak, but there are some good kids in there.
Vak-Hantu 1r.
Hingis' draw is so easy. But is she healthy?
Her trouble spots should come in the 3r, where she may meet Azarenka or Cibulkova, both of which could beat her if she's not 100%.
I'm praying the Woz beats AMG.
Yay! Camee Pan possible 2r against Svetlana.
Kanepi v. Mirza in the bottom quadrant ... Paszek drawn against Arn, then Schiavone-Dechy. Possible ...
You know, it's not out of the realm of the possible that Schnyder could suck out a QF.
Then again, when does she ever? She'll be gone at latest 4r.
The Vaid gets Kudryavtseva. Then Pennetta-Peng. Upset potential.
Loit-Razzano. Why do they always play?
Top Half:
Qualifier attack for Justine.
I bet Golovin beats Safina. Safina just blows.
Oh, so Vera returns?
Bartoli is maybe a bit of a wildcard there.
Maybe Olaru will beat Venus!
Gee, a fourth round between Venus and Ivanovic might go badly.
I pick .... Justine for the title.

Yay Justine v Silliams QF. QF is the best round to play Silliams in. Don't see any reason why Justine can't beat her here. Bepa in the draw...I kind of expect a withdrawal so not raising my hopes. Hingis will probably lose to Azarenka. Or, like, Garbin. Will the long-dreaded Vaidisova/Sharapova match-up finally come to pass? Another tight straight-set loss for the Chak

Davai Queen Masha. I hope the shoulder (or crap play) doesn't make her bow out before the final. Unless it's Tina she plays in the semis. Which won't happen.

Will the long-dreaded Vaidisova/Sharapova match-up finally come to pass? Nah. That eagerly awaited clash is destined never to take place. Already been said 1.000.000 times, but this draw is so unbalanced it's funny.

Princess Masha losing early would be perfect, but it's very unlikely to happen.

Princess Masha losing early would be perfect, but it's very unlikely to happen. Yeah, but the only person I give a shot at beating Maria in that quarter is Schnyder...maybe Radwanska. Heh, just realized that if seeds hold to the QF (big if), the entire bottom half would be Russian
