I'm not sure if you'll have a chance to come by before you leave on your trip, Mrs. B, but I wanted to say that I'll miss you lots and that I hope you have fun again. I'm sure it will be great to stroll on a nice warm sandy beach in December And, I just wanted to give you another place to easily post if you ever feel the urge to check up on us So, have fun, get a great tan, and come by and see us once in a while!

Hi, Guys! Didn't see this thread till today, sorry but haven't really been indulging at the internet cafes and the lines are really slow out there! Thanks Hackie, for putting this up, just like last year , and thanks to everyone who sent me emails and Christmas greetings. Came back yesterday, so i'm still in a beach state of mind, this cold temp is still alien to my senses so i need time to zap back to reality... I reckon if winter's gonna be around for a while i probably should start ski lessons or something, but that's another story. But yes, hubby and i had a fab time. Singapore, Langkawi, south of Thailand, the islands of Koh Hai, Koh Lanta, visited old friends in Ao Nang, Krabi, back to Langkawi...and the weather was warm, the food was just super, the sunsets gorgeous! We played beachball and frisbee everyday to keep fit, swam, snorkeled, lazed around, read...the usual things you do on a holiday... and no i didn't have problems with flies, t'was mostly some irksome mosquitoes finding their way into our rooms in some places. Happy New Year to you all and hope the tennis is gonna be hot this year, including mine!

Hi, Ilhame! I still miss that tropical weather as i sit here in cold Bern with a gray sky outside the window! Yuk. We moved so much, and were always barefoot, now hubby and i are wearing our socks and pullys indoors. A difference of 30 degrees celsius is a lot! Hope you're keeping warm...

Welcome back, Mrs. B! Glad to hear you had a fabulous and luxurious vacation. It sounds like a lot of fun, all the different activites you indulged yourself in. Me, I go home to the warm weather and it gets cold I haven't even had a chance to play tennis, and I guess I won't til I come home for spring break. Ah, well. I've had my fill of watching it, though, and it appears my players are off to a rockin' start to the new season. Hehe, ski lessons sound like a lot of fun to me. I just love the snow, and I'm sure the Alps are gorgeous this time of year. I'm not coordinated enough to ski, I don't think, but it'd be fun to try. Heh, damn, add another activity to the ever-growing list of things to do if I ever get to Switzerland ;D
