The last (?) Kuznetsova vs Petrova (Berlin 07) was a classic. Probably the last good match Petrova played (and still lost). Not getting my hopes high for this one though.
Shrieky Vicky has butchered Schiavone in the past. :kissofdeath:
You are SO going to hate Kvitova when you see how she plays. Janie would probably still like her if she was black, though.

If she were a Pakistani or an Albanian, or better yet a Brazilian, I'd like her even more! I'll probably be in my grave before we get the Girl Guga I'm waiting for.

If Robert loses -- and he might -- when was the last time ZERO Americans made the fourth round of either singles draw?
Never. Right?

Boy, a Knapp upset of Sharapova would be sweet. Anything can happen on this top half. I still can't figure out what Wozniak is doing in the third round, though. This might be someone's big breakthrough ... Safina, Vera? Or, it might be someone's last chance at a Slam title - Dementieva comes to mind. Maybe the wretched Petrova, too. Should be fun.

I thought Zheng might be a litmus test for Safina. I think she'll beat Sharapova now, assuming Knapp doesn't get there first.
Kuznetsova v Azarenka and Radwanska v Jankovic are the two key 4th rounders which are going to affect how the final weekend plays out...I must say, despite her chronic aches and pains, 5 and 3 over Cibulkova is not a bad score at all for JJ.

Sharapova breezes through the first set in just 81 minutes! Maybe these scrubs can't beat her, but at least they're wearing her out a little bit! Definitely, but that should really make no difference as Safina ought to win their match either way. Radek Rapes Robredo 6-3 6-2 6-1.
