Tomorrow I am sleeping late, and then I have lawn care and gardening to do. And I think I'm going to lunch with friends at some point. Maybe later in the afternoon or evening I will see who won.

When I was little, I cheated at Skeeball and broke one of the machines.
Those 100 holes were impossible to get, though.

I actually might have nothing better to do.
This is bad.
Really bad.

I only have to leave at about 15:00 (GMT), so I may watch some out of morbid curiosity - the same morbid "can it really be that bad" curiosity that led me to go out of my way to watch both Roddick vs Nadal matches on hardcourts. But I was just checking this www.letour.fr/Issue in doubt. Tennis right now most certainly isn't rewarding the time I have put into it over the past couple of years.

But true, it wasn't outrageously bad, although I didn't pay all that much attention to it. According to my commentators Dementieva only says what everybody else thinks re: family decisions. But they went all "What a great shot!!!!!11" every 30 seconds.

Didn't get to see it (have a legitimate excuse) but it sounds like Wimbledon finals are the only good sistah encounters.
Let's predict the US Open: JenCap def. Thundah 6-0 0-6 7-6

Britchick and Longnamedthai a set all, on court one and on BBC1. Let the hype ensue.

It's hard to believe Serena lost the final in straight sets after she started off the first set so well. Congratulations are in order for Venus Williams winning her fifth Wimbledon title. But I can't help but think she had another easy draw. And I'm kind of sad a tennis player like Venus can play poorly for a year without any good results and then come to Wimbledon and win it.

Nice job, Vee. Five of 'em! That's really amazing, especially considering how few OTHER Slams she's won (is it just one US Open?) She has become a Wimby specialist and Serena has become an AO specialist. Serena acted like a big baby after losing. So I guess it's not only when she loses to Henin that her inner 2-year-old emerges.

So I guess it's not only when she loses to Henin that her inner 2-year-old emerges. I don't like how Venus can play uninspired tennis most of the year and then show up and win Wimbledon. But Wimbledon is all about the serve. If you can serve well you can win Wimbledon. Good point Janie about Serena's inner 2 year old when she loses grand slam finals. ;D But Serena was in a worse mood when the then tennis novice Maria Sharapova shocked her in the 2004 Wimbledon final. ;D

No, it was no act. They showed a clip of it on tv. She does pout, and her sisters indulge it. She needs sisters who say okay, okay, now get over it already! instead of POOR BABY!! OUR POOR WIDDLE BABY LOSTED! AWWWWW!!!! I assume they won the doubles? I wonder if Serena still pouted then? Probably.
