Nole ends up on the Federer side, thank goodness.
Blake may be a challenge for Nadal in the QF, and he could have Murray in the SF. But Rafa SHOULD make the final on current form, and we'll see which of the Other Two will battle him, as it should be.

Nike have changed Rafa's outfits, he's now going to b wearing sleeves and regular lenghth shorts, cue mass suicides over on vb this is from the person who runs the site, 50 years plus pervy old bint It's shite. He looks old before his time. It's just horrible and I'm so gutted I don't think I can bear to watch the US Open.
Even Rafa's charisma will have a hard time making that outfit look anything other than old and dull.
If he'd worn that three years ago I very much doubt I'd ever have noticed him.
I will never enjoy making a home page again
I know it's shallow but it's taken the heart right out of me.stupid cow, as if you only support a player because of what clothes they wear

I think it's a huge improvement for Rafa.
I want to know what Serena is all Whatevz about.

Wow, he actually looks hot there.
And that's totally something I would wear. I may even buy it.

Oh, that shirt is a huge improvement. Of course, my issues with polo shirts have been well documented. But still. That's so much better than an oversized, shiny, sleeveless shirt. His get-up has always bordered on fug.

I thought the sleeveless shirts/capri pants were fug, but I got used to them, and they were useful from a marketing angle I guess. It's good that Rafa's moving on, he couldn't have continued wearing them forever.
Nice timing, too - a statement that he's not the punk kid challenger any more, he's the man to beat.

I don't mind the capris, but he really needs to kill the sleeveless shirts. I know it shows his muscles, but it gives off that he's still a dirty kid and smells bad. Which he does because he's always picking his ass. And the capris still would give him the unique look.

At the risk of Nadal now losing his next match to R De Heart, with my having said this, the biggest threat to him in his quarter is probably Nalbandian...no? Blake on Ashe could be tricky, but he hasn't lost to Blake since '06. I would think Nalbandian would be far worse for him... how's the belly looking on Dave? Did anybody catch his first round match?

Blake, lollerz. I caught some of his match against Young. Hasn't Donald been given a WC or whatever for like the past three years, losing on Ashe in the opening round each time.
Fat Dave won in three. Amazing feet for him! Haven't seen the belly yet tho.

I think that Young lost to Djokovic on the grandstand.
Nalbandian could very well lose to somebody that nobody has ever heard of, by a score of 6-1 6-2 6-7 0-6 1-6. I'm just saying, if he manages to live up to his seeding, he's as good a bet as any to beat Nadal in that quarter; it's just a horrible, horrible matchup for Nadal. Is it not?
