Tomorrow begins the unrelenting hype for Wozniacki when she defeats Jankovic.
Novak slighted again. I hope he wins the title.

Tomorrow begins the unrelenting hype for Wozniacki when she defeats Jankovic. Novak slighted again. I hope he wins the title. You might be right about Wozniacki. She has a very big upside and plays tennis with a smile on her face. And she's much bigger than I thought she was which is a major advantage in the power driven women's tennis.

Jankovic was surprisingly good in the 2nd set. She is actually trying to make things happen and not just mindlessly rally all day long like in the previous rounds. Woz is somewhat sloppy.

That's the first time I see WozDen. She's far better than WozCan. Her second serve sucks just as much though.
I don't like her forehand. She's pushing the ball more than hitting it.

Woz has imploded again, but I like how JJ has turned it around in the last two sets.
Kathy Rinaldi can't stop mentioning the "drama" in this match and how every match involving JJ has drama. This was in reference to the opening game of the third set where JJ had arguments with Lynn Welch (or Welch. Yes, she's been around forever, but I'm still unsure what her surname is). on consecutive points (including one which she won). Also, in the first set, when LW didn't allow JJ a challenge because she took long. Rinaldi was in shock that JJ could actually argue with the umpire. How could she? I mean, it's Lynn Welch! (or Welch. Yes, she's been around forever, but I'm still unsure what her surname is).

You might be right about Wozniacki. She has a very big upside and plays tennis with a smile on her face. And she's much bigger than I thought she was which is a major advantage in the power driven women's tennis. She's tall but doesn't play a power game. I expected Jankovic to run out of fuel today, but in the end it was Wozniacki who seemed spent. Not that she had much of a chance anyway; Jankovic plays the exact same game she does, only much better.

There is not way Wozniacki should have gotten whipped like that by Jankovic after taking he first set. And it looks like Tursunov is continuing his losing ways against Davydenko. Tursunov has not become th eilte player I thought he would. He's a good player haing a good career but I thought he would be a better tennis player than he is.

Can someone who was watching CBS' coverage of the U.S. Open today explain to me why they were so focused on 14 year old junior Chris Harrison? I missed the beginning of why they were focusing on him. It doesn't make sense since it was only the first round of juniors. And the kid looks like a ballboy. Thanks for any information.

Bartoli has a back problem and gastrointestinal distress. Bammer in the QF? Yikes. Having said that, Bammer hits a hell of a ball. I was forced to respect her groundstrokes.
Yeah, Muller is maybe the biggest baby I've ever seen play live. Giant asshole.
