Gonzo is tired.
This is not good. Although Roddick probably has to beat Djoko, Federer and Nadal for the title, it might not be completely impossible as it should be, because of their tiredness.

I agree.
That would sustain his crazy fans for the next decade at least.

If Gonzo can just win this set somehow, I think it turns around. Andrew isn't exactly confident.
Andrew vs. Nole scares me too.

I agree. That would sustain his crazy fans for the next decade at least. If by crazy fans you mean loyal fans then I agree. The Roddick/Djokovic quarterinal would be played on Thursday night which mean that Novak won't be suffering in the heat like he did today against Robredo. And that's important for Djokivic.

I'll make the outrageous prediction that Roddick will reach the final. And I'll look really stupid if Gonzo manages to come back tonight. Ughhh this is immediately what I thought when I woke up to see these various scores, and then when I read Nole's endless complaints about his body. I still have horrible memories of Dubai this year. This is, like, the worst thing that could possibly happen, right? Even worse than a Williams resurgence. Even worse than the Batty run.

Roddick reaching the final - and then losing - is totally okay with me. But I don't see him beating Djokovic and then Federer, which is probably what he'll need to do. Man, I just thought of something awesome(ly terrible). Imagine that Federer loses to Muller. Roddick beats Djokovic, who has a sore back, foot, menstrual cramps, and totally hiked a mountain right before this match and is like, soooo tired. Then, with one of his last shots at a slam on the line, Roddick shits the bed in the semifinals. It matters not whether it's Murray or Nadal in the final at this point - whoever it is, MTF will explode when all 242343 people try to get their "this slam didn't count" post in at once.
I'm just saying.
The above scenario would be fantastically terrible.

Sorry, I'm slow. You are saying that if Muller reaches the final and loses against either Murray or Nadal, that would be awful?
Meh. I wouldn't really mind that. A qualifier in the final would be pretty cool, and who cares what people on MTF says. Murray and Nadal have both worked hard, the winner of their match would be a worthy champion.
No. Roddick winning the whole thing is the WORST scenario BY FAR.
Next to Fish winning.

I wouldn't find it awful. But an awful lot of people would whine. A lot. Their whining would be terrible.

Where the fuck did Muller come back from, anyways? He qualified, and then drew Haas. The end. Sad but true.

I think Andrew has a decent shot of defeating Nole assuming Nole continues to be sporadic with the FH like he has thus far... but he absolutely will not defeat Roger here. The fast Ashe court will work against Roddick in that situation.

Yeah, my hope is mainly on Federer now too, despite the fact that he was bad against Igor. He didn't look too tired and was quite sharp at the crucial moments. With a fairly easy win against Muller, he should recover nicely and then beat the hell out of Roddick if necessary.
