I was watching on CBS with no idea what was going to happen. How is it that Andy is calmly and easily schooling Rafa? I've just caught up with the current situation and am thrilled that Rafa has a night to figure out why he's a dead man out there. And hopefully, Andy has a night to start twitching with nerves at the nearness of a Slam final.

Has been discussed before, but do you agree that the USTA made a big mistake with the Arthur Ashe Stadium? First of all, no roof. Okay maybe the weather was more steady in the 80's and 90's but considering the past few years, not going for a roof seems silly. And when Wimbledon manages to put one on their Centre Court by next year, you know the USTA messed up. Then, it's too big. Atmosphere-wise, this court comes off the worst on TV of all the Grand Slam venues, and I have to assume it's the same in real life. Tennis works better with a bit of intimacy. And also, it helps if you can actually see the ball from the far-awayest seats. Yes it was a big mistake by the USTA to make Ashe stadium so big. There was no need for it. And I don't recall Armstrong stadium being as windy and Ashe stadium is. The wind hinders the quality of play which is bad for tennis fans. And then there is the issue of the roof. Ashe stadium should have been made with a roof. Maybe they can add a roof to it the way Wimbleodn is doing with Center court and court one.

I won't watch a Federer/Murray final; nevertheless, I will be rooting for Murray. Murray has a huge advantage on Nadal by being up 2 sets to love. But don't count Nadal out yet. If Rafael wins the third set watch out. And Murray has a night to think about being one set away from being in his first grand slam final and that could make him tighten up when the match resumes.
