Good luck to Coco in the girls' final! After reading that her opponent tomorrow, Paz, played a game of waiting for Oudin to make mistakes, I am definitely cheering wholeheartedly for the more aggressive Coco. Seize the day, kid!

During weekends, it is all about what CBS wants. Fed vs Djokovic were played first because that's what CBS wanted.

But why did Nadal/Murray start an hour and half after Federer/Djokovic? It doesn't make sense and it's not fair to the Murray/Nadal winner since everyone knew weather delays will play a role in being well rested or not for the final.

I believe Nadal/Murray was originally scheduled 2nd, which means it's the "glamour" match.
Also, Nadal has to be the biggest star at this point. But, it's close, so whatever.
The unfortunate thing here is that Nadal/Murray would have started at 11 at Armstrong, and probably finished... but, the USTA had to cover incase Fed/Nole had an early injury or something, thus there could have been ticket refunds.
Because, as always, it's about the almighty dollar, kids.

Mighty Coco takes down the backboard, 7-6(3) 6-1. Wooohooooooooo! She should've been playing juniors all along, given her late start in tennis at age 11. Now maybe she won't choke so often in the big leagues.

I think CoCo has the potential to do big things on the WTA Tour. And it's important to note how weak women's tennis is these days escpecially the top 20.

And I thought the players in the semi's at grand slams who are one day ahead of the others in the draw always play their semifinal match first. That's the way it should be.

The USTA wants Federer to win so badly that want to make sure the winner of Murray/Nadal has less than 1 days rest for the final while Federer gets 2 days to rest. There should be a way the ITF comes down on the USTA for all of their scheduling nonsense over the years.
