Team Poland isn't fun to watch. They're all power. Go Nenad.
Go Kolya.

I thought they'd be showing this Murray vs Davydenko match live on the Tennis Channel, but instead we're getting get Todd Martin vs Jim Courier in some exo. So much for the excitement of being back in tv-world. whine whine

It's probably on tape delay on ESPN2 in the middle of the night.

TC is showing tapes at 10 AM, but I've never enjoyed taped sports. But if Kolya manages to win this, I might have to tune in after all.

"I think today I played a good match, but I just played my safe tennis," assessed Simon. "I was, from the beginning until the end, just three meters behind my baseline, running everywhere, and I was not very aggressive. He was very aggressive, more than me. He was a little bit lucky sometimes, touching many lines, and finally he won the match.
"But when you play three hours like this, of course you have so many opportunities to win. So that's why it's very hard to lose."

ESPN still has rights to Masters Cup for some reason. And TTC is stuck with the doubles. Grr.
Kolya #1.

Oh, okay; I didn't know that. I didn't even check the 10 AM broadcast, unfortunately -- it might have been fun to watch the dubs.

Semifinals reportSHANGHAI, China (AP) -- Nikolay Davydenko defeated a tired Andy Murray 7-5, 6-2 Saturday to advance to the Masters Cup final. He was steady and relentless against Murray, who looked exhausted from his 3-hour victory over second-ranked Roger Federer on Friday night. ... Djokovic served for the match at 5-4, but double-faulted. "I was pretty exhausted, had to save some energy," he said. "I went for the shots. I wanted to make the points shorter. I risked, and the risk didn't pay off in that game. But it paid off afterwards."

It would be great for men's tennis if a young star in Djokovic ended the year winning the Master's Cup. But Davydenko is laying in the weeds for him.
