Nikolay Davydenko - Champion of 2008.
Nenad & God won't be #1 in doubles, but they should be.

Novak's 2008 is remarkably similar to Hingis' 1998. Australian Open and Masters champion. No titles between the victory in Rome and the Masters. Random observation.

I thought the final was best of 5. Oh well.
Nole deserves the points after two tough early losses in Madrid and Paris.

Looks like Nole was pretty determined to redeem last year's anticlimax. Good for him - he needed a big victory.

Congrats to Djokovic on winning the Master's Cup the second biggest title of his career. It will be interesting to see if Novak has a great year next year and makes a run at #1. If he stays healthy he could. And Nole has the game to beat all the top players on the ATP Tour.

Nikolay Davydenko - Champion of 2008. Nenad & God won't be #1 in doubles, but they should be. "Canadian Daniel "God" Nestor and Nenad "Nenad" Zimonjic of Serbia beat the Bryan brothers 7-6 6-2 to win the Masters Cup doubles crown and replace the Americans as the number one pairing in the world."
