My pleasure. "I felt bloated. I just drank too much before the match. I was aware that it was pretty hot and I had a long day hanging around waiting to play. With the heat you just want to stay hydrated, but you can sometimes drink too much. I felt a little uncomfortable out there, but it was my own fault... . . . . (wait for it) . . . . . . . . " ... But there are no excuses. She played a better match than I did." -- A.Keothavong

If mentally you are tired, then you go even more down and everything is going down." -- D.Safina "I feel better overall and I am mentally and physically fresh when I was tired coming in last year." -- R.Federer (sorry Chloe, I guess we're not finished hearing about the mono )

"Today, I didn't play my best and didn't feel great going out on the court, but I kept on going with my head. So that's what pulled me through today. At times I couldn't even get myself, or the crowd going. I couldn't even scream, 'Come on' any more. I was so tired." -- J. Dokic

"...I couldn't even scream, 'Come on' any more. I was so tired." -- J. Dokic That's one way to shut these players up! Young M.Wejnert is certainly learning last and is well-coached in . "It's no excuse but I was a little tired out there today." said Wejnert last night. ... Coach Chris Steel said: "She's a bit drained and it wasn't her day. She needed to bring her A-game on to court and she wasn't able to do that.

"He's not a guy who's never given up before ... it's disappointing," said Federer, who will face Roddick in the semifinals. "I've only done it once in my career ... Andy totally deserved to win that match." "I'm almost in favor of saying, you know what, if you're not fit enough, just get out of here," Federer added. "If Novak were up two sets to love I don't think he would have retired 4-0 down in the fourth. Thanks to Andy that he retired in the end. Andy pushed him to the limits. Hats off to Andy."

"The US Open is a tournament that has always been harder for me. I have improved with time and I reached the semifinals in 2008. It was a pity I got there so tired.... Mentally and physically, I wasn't there. The semifinals especially, against Murray, I really can't move."
