Ana was really annoying with the fist pumping. I don't recall her being like that. She's eerily getting like St. Kim used to be, and the announcers are saying the "she's a wonderful girl" garbage more and more. Kim could get away with the fake nice thing because she's ugly, but you have no excuse BAG. Stop, nao.
Goo may be the strangest player I've ever seen. She's a fat pig, hits nearly every shot off balance, but when she hits it, it's always solid, powerful contact. And has the amazing ability to track balls down with little movement and her love handles swinging. Kinda like Monica in the early comeback days.
Also, Andrew looks much better with the gut gone. I want to do him again.
Also, Federer is back to Jesus mode. He's not losing unless Nadal makes the final.

So have you sent her a question? Try to remember not to call her Cake, if you do!

Ana and Kim kind of make me miss grumpy old JenCap, but I can see why they're popular in Australia, which is tied with Canada for the Friendlyland title. I don't think I could live in a country where the national MO is constant friendliness. Which I suppose means I should like the loathesome Hewitt, but the fact is you can be grumpy or testy without being a complete a$$hole.

I don't get why the journalists aren't asking Ana about her serve issues. They talk about the serve constantly to ED, but it seems to be off-limits when it comes to Ana. Surely they've noticed she's been having a lot of trouble? I'd think it'd be the #1 question to ask. I've read her first and third post-match PCs and no one's asking.

Argh! I just wrote a long-winded post, providing more clarity on my previous post and the window hung and crashed so I had to retype. Which...no, I'm too sleepy.
Not a Dokic fan or hater, but really enjoying her run. The media keeps telling us, how this is the best women's tennis has ever been, blah blah bullshit. Usually root for Ana Ivanovic, but like janie, really did realize this result had no impact on me. It was more of a "Cool, she's out too"...Jankovic is the preferred choice, by far, which probably explains her lack of big prizes - I tend to be attracted to those types.

I guess Jank grows on people, while interest in Ana tends to fade away. That is, if posters here are typical of the world at large, which of COURSE we are!

I was happy to see Kleybanova win that match. I don't like to see the top players bullshit their way through early rounds even though they can't serve/run/hit the ball over the net or whatever the problem is that week. Ivanovic deserved to lose for that awful serve.
Kleybanova needs to get thinner, though. She needs the Davenport diet to be better than top twenty, I think.

As for Wozniacki, she lost because she got WAY too passive. Her balls were bouncing in the service box and sitting up for Jelena to pound.
