Root for who you want in the final. It's not like Dinara has a chance. You're all still not learning. You're right. I'm all for Vera. Safina was crap against Cornet and Dokic and deserved to lose both those matches. She should be taken out ASAP! Yes well, it doesn't matter, Dinara will beat Bepa. In fact, THIS will probably be today's Big Choke Match.

I wonder what Vera was listening to? Maybe some Nick Cave or Tim Buckley to get herself going.

They'd take games away like on University Challenge.

Barbara Schett and Mats Wilander have reached a consensus that Bepa will win.

As for Elena, well, hell. This was her big chance, and she stuffed up bigtime. Serena was my pick for the title, but my heart was with Elena. And that went the way it usually does. Without Justine in the field, I guess they really are still the two best players. I doubt either wins Roland Garros ever again, but the other three? W for Williams for many years to come.

Barbara Schett and Mats Wilander have reached a consensus that Bepa will win. Hurley has reached a consensus that Schett and Wilander should make babies.

6-3 Safina, duh. She'll also be serving first in the second set.
Well, Safina-Williams will be for #1, which is actually cool.

Good stuff from Dinara. Vera allows herself to get dominated in every aspect. Silly girl.

Bepa has to realise that Dinara isn't making errors today and she'll actually need to do something for herself

No, it shouldn't. Women's tennis deserves a #1 that wins 18 Tier IVA's and loses SF in every slam while Serena and Venus win 2 slams each and do not play any other tournaments.

Bepa was too passive. And generally played like crap.
Dinara had better play like that in the final, or else I will get very angry.

I've no expectation for Dinara. Serena should by all rights win the title. She walloped Dinara at the USO and at the year-end event. I don't know what else Andy can do to beat Roger. I know he won in Miami somehow, but ... I just don't see what else he can do to beat him when it counts. Probably nothing. He was in great shape, he played great all tournament, and he still lost in straight sets. Now ... Roger must defeat Nadal for the title to keep that "rivalry" interesting. 0-4 in 2008 was dismal. If Rafa wins, it would just be too one-sided. Unfortunately, I fear he just might! I don't think Roger was as good today as he was in the QF. To beat Nadal, he must have that aggressive backhand he displayed against Del Potro and at times against Andy. Rafa picks on that side. Roger has to keep him honest. Or maybe Verdasco will win.

By the way Sharapova could have sleptwalked her way to the Oz title this year if she was there. If Serena ends up winning the title, good for her and she's by far the greatest player of her generation, not that she isn't already. If no one can get themselves together at least so much to beat her playing like this, screw them. Agreed. The WTA can fuck off. Fucking cunts.

You can't blame Serena for being lazy and unmotivated, really. I mean, who cares if you hit 49483284 UEs in a match, the opponent will always be worse. Yes, which is why I currently hate the WTA. Yet, oddly enough, I continue to follow it. It's like a trainwreck.

Wow, even the common herd in TF/WTAW was horrified at this. Why? I didn't think Lena D. played bad. She did her best, and it's not her fault that her best didn't do.

Hurley has reached a consensus that Schett and Wilander should make babies. And I have reached the conclusion that Barbara Schitt and Shats Philanderer need fired!
