The French always puzzle me with their court selections.
Jo-Willy/Principality is the best 2nd round match in the draw. I doubt anyone in FRA wants to watch Cake/Taxx.

The French are still in bed at 11. That's why they've been giving Dinara 11 AM matches on big courts.
I love Western Europeans. They run on my schedule. Sleep late, work for a while, lunchtime nap, work for a while, dinnertime nap, party for a bit but still in bed by midnight. Repeat.

Everyone is wildly underestimating VRP, I think. I am not saying she'll win, but...it could get interesting.

What has she done for us lately? I was barely aware that she still plays singles.
She did have a 2-0 record against Pornikova, which means I was once a fan of hers ;D, but Serena is no Porni.

Glatch is a ballbasher but not a grunter or screamer . LDL is playing 20 ft. behind the baseline, and is winning. Drizzly day favors olde-time claycourters today. If these conditions persist, maybe Vivi can win a few games. Cokehead Lourdes wins the tb 76 (0) Wish I had a lighted keyboard like janiehub does! It's not daytime yet here.

I'm watching Bartoli-Garbin, it's pretty good. Also, both players are a little crazy which helps.

I want my Cake, too! But we've switched to Jankovic - Rybarikova, which has also had some fun points in this 2nd set.

Yeah, Lucie's looking BAD. Maybe she'll settle down in the 3rd? Vee must have come out on fire.

Now I wish I could watch that one! This one's a 5-setter; we can come back later! Ah, it's impossible for tv to satisfy us tennis fans.

In a way Lucie has benefited from being so poor in the second set - she didn't get anywhere close to wrapping the match up, and at the end you could see her just blasting away and mentally preparing for the third. And when she came out for this set, she hit the ground running.
