A massive wager on Vliegen, I hope! Er... yes, yes, of course I went on Vliegen

I thought as much! Ivanovic in deep doodoo against a pretty goof rebound ace player... Sania losing 6-3 to Kraj, I'm not too surprised Sluiter takes the first set from Andreev, I am surprised Vliegen down early to Verdasco, inconceivable!

I have a bad feeling about Nastya against Jamea. Am I crazy? Then again, maybe you aren't... bagelled in the 2nd set...

Lord, Nastya is having trouble breathing...and Jamea has heatstroke.

Nastya blowing lots of BP's in this *2-1 game, so this could be bad.

2-2. Women's tennis! Whoever holds serve will win via retirement as the other woman will die of shock.
And, I'm sorry, but aside from two wins over Mauresmo, Ivanovic has done nothing good ever.

Nastya held in like 5 seconds flat. That...must be a typo.

Are you saying that if it wasn't for those bonus points she would be outside the top 20 where she belongs?

Funny, they keep talking about Kim's "injury" and Meng-Meng is taped up like a mummy!

Are you saying that if it wasn't for those bonus points she would be outside the top 20 where she belongs? Yeah yeah, Delta. But if you look at how many mid-range seeds have lost already, it really makes you think. I think ranks 11-120 are basically equal these days. These young UNC's in the Top 30 seem to be very wimpy. Ivanovic, Golovin, Groenefeld, Zvonareva, Mirza all getting hyped, but I don't think any of them have the will to win. Only Vaidisova and Safina (2 years late) seem to be sticking and winning most of what the WTA wants you to believe they should. If I had my house on it, I'd pick VRP, MASL, Camerin over any of those other girls in a Slam anytime. Which is really not good.

Nastya to serve for the match, not that that really means anything.

Except you might have to revise it when Arvidsson beats Safina and Pennetta hammers Vaidisova. In accordance with prophesy.

Which is fine, HEJA SOFIA! Nastya wins! Nastya wins!

Vera Z and Elena L make a great doubles team. They're gonna go for the title with gusto now that they're both out of the singles. I hope they do it!
Loit not going away. I really wouldn't want to have money on Mauresmo for the title right now.
My Safina jinx working at the moment.
