Commentator on Nadal-Del Potro comparsion: Similar shirt, but not the same biceps! *giggle* Erm. OMGZ biceps heehee! Ugh. Who is your commentator? A guy with a British accent (Not David Mercer...maybe Mark Petchey?) was the one who made the comment. John McEnroe was the one who giggled.

Meanwhile, Dinara is struggling again with the easiest draw one could ever ask for at Wimbledon. She's like a wannabe Sharapova with her "fighting". Always do it against the scrubs, but gag gag choke when it matters.

Looks like Safina is going to get FLIPKENS next. Insane.
Baltacha is 2-0 against Flipper, which she talked about in her PC. You know...the Brit girls are obsessed with records, and their opponents' rankings, and their own rankings. Maybe this is why whenever they get in these positions (winnable big matches, cracking the Top 100), they choke. They need to learn to play the damn tennis and if they win, milestones will come, regardless.
The Australian girls have the same problem.

Everyone's avatar is that way, as well. Of course, if I was on tour, I'd be the same way. The nerdy player that watches tape of every player 20 hours per day.

I don't think the Williams sisters are like that at all, or Federer or Nadal. I don't think Henin was, I don't think Seles was, I don't think Fatriati was.
I suppose in the lower echelon, each match is so important to the ranking and the wallet that you pay more attention to the little things, but I think you psych yourself out so much more when you think about how you're 1-1 against A-Bond and she's ranked 33 but was once 22 and blah blah blah instead of thinking she's a good player and I'll have to play my best to beat her.

And -- especially -- when you're just outside of the Top n and winning this match will FINALLY get me in there, like Baltacha did endlessly in her last PC (when she wasn't talking about her record against Flipkens). If you think about that shit too much, you'll never get there, because any time you get close, you'll choke.
See: today's 5 and 1 loss to her previous bitch.

Murray is famously a tennis nerd, and I think Hingis was as well. I guess if you're going to win matches with your brains you need to be. Bless her, but Baltacha is never going to be that sort of player.
A-Rad over Peng in an epic, 9-7 in the third...can't see her getting past Lee Na next.
Watched the first set of MauMau/Kucova Minor just to check out the latter's game. The answer = "boring and not very good". Sub-Harkleroad nothingness. So now, maybe the last time I shall see the Gnome on grass!
