Lisicki wins the opening set and Fran holds on for 5-5 in the second!

Azarenka is such a whiner...complains about a line judge to the umpire but then just keeps going on and on and on and on in that petulant tone of hers, then walks over to the line judge and sarcastically tries to shake her hand. Boos and tut-tuts ensue. That's why I love Azza. If she'd only stop that incessant shrieking, she'd be favorite material.

Prakash/Aisam take the second set. Prakash hit two return winners in that last game, including one on setpoint! ;D

King Ivo hasn't been broken yet in this tournament. And he's good in tie-breaks now.

I didn't think Lisicki was ready for a bigtime Slam result yet, but it's no question that PEAK her beats PEAK WozDen. Of course there is still plenty of time to choke.
Meanwhile experience beats insanity as Fran has 5 MPs.

Fran closes it out on her first mp! She now has QF finishes everywhere except AO, correct?

Lisicki's great serve is winning her a lot of crucial points. WozDen is kind of sulky, isn't she?
Safina 3-0 up in about 10 seconds - oh, MauMau.

WozDen just attempted a drive volley while standing two feet outside the court, and netted it. Serving to stay in the match now...

Lisicki serves out to love! It was a full-body bump - it looked like Lisicki just wasn't looking, but WozDen was the one who refused to move, threw her hands up in fake outrage, made a big drama out of it. Then didn't win another point
