I agree on ancic being super duper overrated
I am not impressed with his groundies, his baseline game, and his serve isnt goran roddick ivo category

That said, I lost a wager on Ancic. But I'm not bitter.

I picked Dave Ferrer to reach the R16 but I had assumed someone else would beat Ancic first.

I can say that because Hurley is not here and he won't bother scrolling back. Think again! Although, she certainly blew today!

Ferrer Looks like Vesnina has had a few MP but hasn't yet put Savchuk away. Exciting no-name tennis!

"There didn't seem to be a whole lot of emotion out there," Hewitt said. "The first two sets, no one had much to cheer about." "I did," offered Brin Yi. And, seriously, speak for yourself, Nasty Little Spawn!

Vesnina wins. Scouting report please! No idea! She had a nice rise during the end of '05 but she is absolutely not one of the Hyped Ones.

I dumped a massive bet on santoro when he was up 2 sets. I'm now paranoid and might hedge it.

Looking at Vesnins's record she beat some bumpkins and lost to some other bumpkins. Weird.

Her 2006 matches were losses to Castellvi and Llagostera -- she was playing possum! Well, to be fair, to reach 4R she beat Tingly, Schruff, and Savchuk -- not exactly a Murderers' Row there! Hence my problem with eliminating bonus points completely -- if Fishin' Hat wins today, going three for three against Top 35 players, they get the same amount of points. Yeah, tennis is about the luck of the draw, but...
