Yes, but she lost 4 games. Korie ruined her moment.

Yes, but she lost 4 games. Korie ruined her moment. Ugh. This is unacceptable. Korie needs fired.

Good hold from Roddick to stretch this match out at least another game.

OK, seriously people. These approach shots are making me cross now.

I'd like to see Andy push this to five. He had a chance to level that breaker, actually. The 5-3 point Fed won was crucial.
Knowing Fed, I'm sure he wants to finish this match by breaking Andy at least once.

May I just say that Andy's looking great lately? A very nice pair of legs he has.
Roger is suddenly in trouble again. Andy *should* be able to run out this set and get it into a fifth.

OK, seriously people. These approach shots are making me cross now. Cross Sjengster, I would also like to see this go to five. I wonder if Fed is going to get a little tight.

I can see the appeal of Roddick these days. 8 years ago, not so much.

Brooklyn's outfit needs fired. You're a bikini model for Christ's sake, wtf are you wearing a bag for?

Also, this match is reeeeeally boring. And if I have to see Sampras in those shades one more time I am going to cry.

It is boring. Apart from the ends of each set. Can we just start each set at 4-4?

Great challenge there, Fed. The ball was only like 30cms inside the line.

Wrong thread, but seeing as this is where folks are today - can anybody recommend some music with great lyrics that I could bring in for my listening class? It has to be composed mainly of real words, seeing as I can't be bothered to teach slang.

Where is Hurley, indeed. Were he here, he'd take my off topic posts and quote them in the correct threads. I need to be moderated like this.

What kind of great lyrics? Funny, poetic, sad, works without the music etc?

We may as well talk about this, at 5-4 in the 5th set of the Wimbledon final.

We may as well talk about this, at 5-4 in the 5th set of the Wimbledon final. Thanks, Boris. He'd like us all to know that he believes that the key to Roger winning this match, is to break the Roddick serve. Actually, I haven't minded Boris as a commentary, that bit aside.

Shakira's new single is completely awesome, but I only have the Spanish version. You could possibly play that and prepare a little dance routine?

Yes, this match is very boring. Strangely, I think it's because of Roger (!). It's a servefest - Andy's last couple matches featured many more rallies.

Okay, I moved my off topic thoughts.
I concur with those who called this match boring. I've been using it as background noise and tuning in at the ends of the sets.

This doesn't even feel like a match ... there's been no flow at all to this fifth set. It's just you serve, me serve, you serve. And it suddenly has all the intensity of an exhibition. Everybody is just waiting for something to happen.

What a difference from last year's final, eh?
Fed gets yet another challenge wrong. But we're only a few more games away from tears. Hurry up Rog, I need to start my day!

Matches like this are far less stressful when I don't really care who wins. Yes, I'm rooting for Roddick, but that's probably in part because I expect him to lose. This isn't like last year, where a Nadal loss would have resulted in much negative behaviour from me. I'm not sure that throwing a remote would have done it.

Sampras looked sad when Roddick has those 2 break points. It was intense. Okay, no, it wasn't. Not at all. But he did look glum.

I swear, I'm cursed. The same thing happened last year - match failed to finish on time due to all the rain delays.
