If you plan on having kids, waiting that long sucks. Chasing a teenager around when you're nearing 50, eh...

I will still be running around when I'm 35. Bank it. However, I don't really want my own children. If I ever have kids it will be later in life and likely by adoption. The idea of settling down at 30 so that I can live in one place for the rest of forever and devote my life to children is gross to me. I'm glad that other people are happy to keep the economy going and population the human race for another generation, so that I don't have.
And now that I'm finishing yawning at those ideas, I'm going to eat my soup.

Save the planet, eat a child. I like this. I might use it in front of my friends, without accrediting you. I hope this is alright with you.

I think being a young mother is so much better than getting started at 35 or something. I'm the youngest child and both my parents were too. Which means my father is 68 and my grandpa would be 108 now. That sucks. Children are better off when their parents are young and their grandparents aren't REALLY old yet.
I'm considering going to Roland Garros next year. Although from what I've heard, I will like it a lot less than Wimbly. And it would suck if I went to RG and not Wimbly and then regret it. AO is far away and just too fucking hot. I would probably hate USO as well.

It's official, I'll be going this year. Qualy Saturday to 1st Wednesday or so.
I'd like to meet anyone who's going. Be amazed when brash Internet Celebrity Leelee is shy, awkward and boring! Hate her when she babbles about when Elena Bovina used to be good, how Kiki's serve is awesome and #1, and how efficient and hawt *random tall Eastern European she sees play* is!

The thought of Leelee being a normal person is confusing and a little frightening. Tim, you must meet her!

Me, too, Ali. Aside from that studying part. I will be doing none of that. I demand a group photo of this event. Otherwise, BAN.

Also, I didn't know where else to post this, but really bad timing from me for not being in Canada this summer - Monica's playing an exhbition in Toronto with Navratilova, Serena and Wozniak on the opening day of the tournament. And Murray's in action in Montreal.

Halloween happens every year! Whereas meeting I.C.Leena and maybe others at the US Open, this might be your only chance. Do it!
I would love to have the chance to watch tennis matches with any of you knowledgeable people. Or, failing that, with Bud Collins.

I'm going to assume 99% of Internet Celebrities are Boring A.F. There's a reason why they are *Internet* celebrities, as opposed to being popular in real life.
I'm very boring, too. But I'm fine with it, too much awesome is too tiresome.

Will Hurley and Dawn Marie be attending the same match again?

The Bychkova has to go through qualies, so Dawn might skip this year.

So I'm not going anymore. Too much stress/hassle with accommodation etc., so am now going for a couple of weeks in October/November and flying down to Miami for a few days of beach.

Couple of weeks? Are you rich? It helps when you don't have to pay for any accommodation. A couple of weeks in 1* hotels = me bankrupt.

I'm not sure what your budget is, but you can get 3 star hotels in manhattan for less than $90 on Priceline.
How much does your flight cost.

$90 a night? LOL.
My flight is $548 with Student Universe so like £330 or something. Not too bad. I'm going to budget for $70/80 a day while I'm there. Should be able to survive on that....

So, I might not be going now if one of the jobs that I'm grossly not connected enough to get, somehow pans out. Life is annoying. My training starts August 31st. Guess what also starts August 31st. So I will not see any live tennis in 2009, barring a random trip to...I don't even know. FML.
