Udachi. Don't put doubles on the main court. And Beebee has paired with 3 of those players. Fab or Fat Dave, don't care. Just be entertaining. NADYA, even though you're so obviously losing. Chrissy. I await the choking from Lindsay! Camille Nehahahahaha's boyfriend.

Are you kidding me, Cyril Suk is still at it?? His sis Sukova should still be out there, then. Wonder how old Suk is??

You just know Sukova is watching Hingis and thinking, "Why not me?" ;D
Seriously...why not? Why not Arantxa? Why not Jana? (That's my new band name.) Ugh. Martina may have opened up a truly hideous Pandora's Box. Both Martinas, actually. I mean, both Martinae.

Is it me, or does Patty Schnyder look sturdier this year?

Speaking of Jana, she looked very fit in some exhibition thing she played. It's possible! Plus, we can't have Niki being the top Czech player.

Is it me, or does Patty Schnyder look sturdier this year? Yes. But against Skeletor, most players look fat.

Is it me, or does Patty Schnyder look sturdier this year? Yup, she's in the best shape of her life. Physically and mentally.

Thanks -- it is true that Nastya makes anyone look sturdy, and she's mentally sturdy too. The wisdom on this forum is astonishing!

wouldnt winning the french open be a serious possibility for martina if she keeps playing, say, 3 years more?

wouldnt winning the french open be a serious possibility for martina if she keeps playing, say, 3 years more? Try six months more, the way it's gone the last two years.

And don't think she doesn't know that. She said something to the effect of "Once Myskina won Roland Garros, I knew I could come back and contend." I can't find the exact quote...but she's right.
I love Nastya, but she's right.

I am watching taped fed haas, espn latin america didnt show it live, and jose luis clerc is commentating, already knowing the result, but he pretends he doesnt know, and that all the predictions he makes (now fed will start playing great, if fed does this that will happen) are because of his great tennis insight, not, knowing the result beforehand.
pathetic

This isn't a good doubles match. Asagoe isn't a good doubles player.

Women's doubles is weird. Players like Bepa should not be top doubles players. And just watching this match. Asagoe has a poor game for doubles. She hits every groundy flat, and leaves easy volleys if the net person can hit it clean. She has poor volley technique. But, women's doubles is so bleh that it doesn't matter.
