3:30am EST Roger Federer (SUI)[1] vs Nicolas Kiefer (GER)[21]
And a lot of doubles, pre-teens and wheelchairs besides that.
It's Class vs. Ass!

I'm in the rare position of hoping Roger wins this slam.
Kiefer, no... and Marcos isn't ready for this.
You know you're a gigantic asshole if I don't even cheer for you.

No way Kiefer beating the Fed.
Hopefully Marcos will put up a good fight in the final. By the way, does anyone else think Marcos, being being lovable, is kind of.. um.. hot?

Glad to see everyone here is in good form... I had a little hurricane Katrina problem but the AO has drawn me back in... as it always does, keeping me up late and ruining my days!

I hope you are okay. And Marcos needs to be 10 years older than he is for me to even consider him in hotness terms.

Marcos is lovable.
And I'm getting sick of his girlfriend now. Especially after the 1000 closeups of her during the rain delay.

I'm guessing it's not, since everyone calls her Camille now.
Plus, while Cetkovska sort of looks like her... she's not that pretty.

Thanks Janie. We are okay. Home in New Orleans got washed away, but back in NY and safe.
What is the Camille-Petra confusion? I thought I heard CHris Fowler say they had only been going out for a few months -- I wonder if she knew what she was getting into when she came to the AO with him.

When I was in Buffalo, quite a few people from New Orleans came up there. That's even bigger of a climate change than me moving to Phoenix. Good luck.

Misha, I'm stunned and saddened to hear your N.O. home got washed away! Scary. Will you rebuild? As for that gf, they said she's been going out with Marcos for like 6 weeks! And yet they gave her as much air time as they used to give Brooke Shields when she was married to Andre! I was actually coming here just to gripe about that, so it was great to see someone else already did. Rarely have I seen such a BLAND-LOOKING BARBIE -- and Barbies are, by definition, bland, so that's saying a LOT. Dump her, Marcos! sheesh, the pathetic taste of the male of the species beggars belief sometimes. Tom Hanks, I salute you for being one of the rare famous men to not fall for a Barbie. Oh, and Agassi gets props for that, too. :lust:

He's only 20. Hopefully he bags her for a while, then dumps her. She doesn't seem to fit in with him.

Meh, that was rather boring. No outbursts at all.
People will remember this semifinal appearance for a while. My only hope now is a complete Davis Cup disaster.

Did Kiefer at least "trash talk" to Roger? That would be funny. I think we're gonna have a boring men's final... ala 2004. Blah, both finals will likely be blowouts, too... since Amelie is due for her massive chokage. And Justine doesn't lose matches like that.

Nice to see Zi/Jie finally getting some props here. That's especially cool that they saved match points, against the #1 team. They must have been so excited; wish it had not been on so late.
