Cujo didn't make the cut too. I'm also disappointed with Derek Morris.

I looked at the hometown of Shane Doan (who is definitely not good looking but for me, he's a cutie), Halkirk, AB. Even for an ex-Albertan like me who's proud to know lots of small towns in Alberta has absolutely no idea where the hell is the place

I don't know Dany Heatley is a Calgarian and born on the same day as little Lee but 15 years senior. Hey, little Lee should learn Hockey . My nephew is learning, I went to watch when I was down south. It's so cute those little kids like 6 to 10 who can barely skake and learning how to fall without hurting themselves . Then this very small kid wearing a Flyer jersey, had nothing to do while waiting for instruction from coach, trying to get the kid next to him to wrestle, that kid next to him is like a head taller. Feisty little guy ;D, and Roenick's bad influence came to mind.

After his 2 disastrous skating lessons, I don't think I can convince little Lee back on a pair of skate

Roster for the Swedish team for World Cup. My second favorite after Canada for obvious reason. Big names and good roster, somehow, never did well on international stage though . Maybe too weak in goal. Great force at the front though. Just 2 members are non-NHLers. Goaltenders Henrik Lundqvist Vastra Frolunda HC Tommy Salo Colorado Mikael Tellqvist Toronto Defence Christian Backman St. Louis Kim Johnsson Philadelphia Nicklas Lidstrom Detroit Mattias Norstrom Los Angeles Marcus Ragnarsson Philadelphia Daniel Tjarnqvist Atlanta Dick Tarnstrom Pittsburgh Mattias Ohlund Vancouver Forwards Daniel Alfredsson Ottawa P.J. Axelsson Boston Nils Ekman San Jose Peter Forsberg Colorado Tomas Holmstrom Detroit Andreas Johansson Nashville Jorgen Jonsson Farjestads BK Fredrik Modin Tampa Bay Marcus Nilson Calgary Markus Naslund Vancouver Samuel Pahlsson Anaheim Daniel Sedin Vancouver Henrik Sedin Vancouver Mats Sundin Toronto Henrik Zetterberg Detroit

1989. The last time the team is in the final. And the one and only one time winning the Stanley Cup vs Montreal Canadiens.

OK Flames, stick to the trend!!!!
The team scored the first goal in this series won the game.
Flames winning the 5th game 3 times in previous series and went on winning the series.
Lightning winning the 5th game 2 times in previous series and went on winning the series. (Lightning won 4-0 vs Canadiens so no 5th game)
AND FLAMES SCORED THE FIRST GOAL IN THIS 5TH GAME WITH A POWER PLAY GOAL

St. Louis scored with Dingman assist. Yes, 2 ex-Flames. One break down in Calgary's defense and Tempa scored a goal.

I'm sorry Lee. I can honestly say I know exactly how you feel. And I'm so sad for Gelinas, 2 trips to Game 7 in final and came out empty handed. That's got to be the most horrible feeling in the world . Just to think about him that makes my eyes swell up. I had pretended that playoffs was over one and a half month ago (and you know why), but Game 7 is just too special to not watch. But I hate to see a team has to lose in Game 7. But on the other hand, I'm happy for the Bolts. I've said before that the Bolts is an incredibly exciting team and I love the dynamite duo of St. Louis and Vinny. So I'm happy that they did it. To think about that TB was a still a laughing stock 2 seasons ago and they rose to the top so very quickly and captured the Holy Grail, is just incredible. I'm very excited for them but also frankly quite jealous. What do we have to do to get there? Anyways, the Flames should be very proud of their efforts. At the beginning of the season, who would have thought Flames will be THE Canadian team that would go the distance. Those people in PEI is celebrating like crazy because the Conn Symth winner is the son of PEI, and of course, most of the Quebec is also very happy that the heart of the Bolts are Quebecors, so in a word, we canadians always win no matter which team gets the cup ;D.

Thanks Vera I was prepared for the lost. As the series goes, Lightning is definitely with more skills. They also played with the heart out. The Flames had the early edge because Lightning was not used to the style and intensity (look at their previous 3 opponents in the playoff). When you reached game 7, the better skill team will have the edge as both teams know what their opponents can do and all players will play their heart out. I'm happy for Andreychuk, he had waited 25 years for his first Stanley Cup. If he missed this chance, he may not have another. Gelinas at least has a ring from 1990 although he did understand how precious that was.
