Take the three of them and see their last matches points: (last 5 games of each) Renberg - 2 Goals, 4 Assists, 3 PPP, +4 Sundin - 3 Goals, 4 Assists, 2 PPP, 13 SOG Roberts - 3 Goals, 5 Assists, 3 PPP, 3 GWG, +5 In 5 matches those three guys had 21 points, 8 on Power Play! Renberg is on my team, btw. I got him just some minutes before I came here and saw this post. Good luck with your team then! Can't believe Roberts can still play like this. A few years ago when he was in Calgary, he was forced to retire because of neck injury. He and Nieuwy are my fav in Calgary.

Both our teams lost last night. The Stars ressurged over who but the Nucks. I didn't believe it when I saw. And we managed to lose to those dreadful Wild. UGH! Neither Naslund (scored goal 17 last night) nor Sakic (two goals) could avoid the losses. The Avs were on an 8 game unbeaten streak. Vera, can any of us hate the Wild any more? picked a wrong day to resurge. But the Nucks aren't exactly sizzling these days. I'm thinking maybe bcos all the Nucks fans like me can only see the glass half empty, but we are just very concern about their inability to win a regulation game and Nazzy and Linden's been scoring all the goals in the past like 6 games. Talk about cold, half of our forwards haven't been scoring for like more than 20 games . And talk about hot, oh my god, the Datsyuk and Hull line, how about that. I hate it when the Wings win though . lol @ the Wilds. I guess I could hate them more, like more than I hate the Blues . The Wilds play the most boring style. I guess they beat the Avs the same way they beat us, bored us to fall asleep and then they slide in and score.

Yesterday in the pregame show, the TSN people show a clip of them visited Sweden, in the town where Nazzy and Forsberg grew up. It's quite cute that they have a full size cardboard of both Nazzy and Forsberg together, standing there greeting ppl flying in into the town. Make me want to visit there ;D. Can't wait to see them play together again, the next Olympics is only errrr, 3 years away.

I just saw an article about a place in Sweden on the weekend; check out this link :

RF.
I always want to visit the Scandinavia. It doesn't have the fanfare of touristic places like Paris or London. But I reckon those countries would be very different from the Continental Europe, like more quiet, beautiful scenery, interesting language, clean and everyone is very pale ;D. I'll make sure I only go during summer though.

Pale people -- like those hockey guys, Jonas, Magnus, Jarkko, Carlsen... Borg... and my fave Swede, Peter Lundgren!! Since this IS a hockey thread, I forgot to mention that Peter Lundgren is NOT a bad hockey player at all!! I watched him play in that ATP vs. NHL hockey game in TO last summer -- cool! Rogi -- well, he needs help w his stick handling but what he lacks in hockey skills he makes up for in enthusiasm!

The Avs are playing BAD. Selanne is out of the scoresheets forever, Sakic is playing alone and we're piling draws over draws. UGH! At least the Thrashers are still on top. I like their offense-and-more-offense style. So many talented forwards there! (And imagine if Heatley was there! Heatley, Kovalchuk, Savard, McEachern, Kozlov, and every match is seems that a new one comes and rocks! )

The Avs' a little cold right now. But I heard Forsberg is coming back very soon, he just had his full practice session and expected to be in the lineup in the very near future, maybe this weekend. Kariya is still not practicing with the team yet. The Nucks are pretty cold too. The got another tie with the Kings today, but not after they trailed by 1-4 and gave up 2 Shorthand goals . With the Avs and the Flames on their tails, they just ought to play better. Hey, our respective favorite teams are all fighting for the same division title, cool. But I hope my team ends up on top ;D. At the moment: Nucks 34 games 44 pts Flames 31 games 39 pts Avs 32 games 39 pts And we'll be facing off with the Flames in our next game, Go Canucks.

World Juniors! Who cares? I do! Last year Team Canada lost the finals to Russia (led by that really freakin good player who will likely be the first pick in the next draft... erm... Ovechen? Overchin? Um... surely somebody knows who I'm trying to say here ). Hopefully we go one better this year, but if we have to lose, I hope it's to Russia again

Well, M-A Fleury has another chance to win it this year, hopefully he does well and shut everyone down. Or our wonder kid little Cosby will bring us the luck to win it this year. Good luck to the Junior team. And the red hot Flames and Leafs are marching one. Hope the Flames will have a big fat X'mas dinner so they'll be too full to play well against us on Boxing Day. Merry X'mas.

Have to quote Vera again Looks like the Flames had a bit too many Christmas goodies as Vera wish. hey, my jinx works . Should have jinx the Oilers too cos they gave us a beating after we shut the Flames out. So we beat the red hot Flames on the road and then got creamed by the slumping Oilers . Then Oilers went home today and got beaten by the Flames. Let's just say they all suck at home.

Im trying to convince myself that the tie spree is over. We have to win if we want a real shot at the top of the division.

The grapevine has Flyers eyeing Iggy. Can Calgary keep him Emmm, I heard lots of rumors about trading Iggy, not sure about this Flyers' one. But I'm seriously doubting that Iggy will be a Flame next season. Fortunately, the Flames seem to be able to fly without Iggy this season, so in the worse case scenario of Iggy got traded, I think the Flames will still do well.

Yotes lost 2 home games in the new arena I really wish the team will play better. Especially the Diamondbacks, the Suns and the Cardinals (? not even sure that's the name of the NFL team here) are not at their best. The Hockey team will attract more people when not everyone was crazy about the baseball games.

It may not be well with season tickets though! I think the fans will be excited about the team's success, wouldn't they? And I don't think the recent success is entirely on Iggy's play. The hottest guy on the Flames team is probably Kiprusoff, and Donovan also played very well in the past 15 games. Well, just look at the Oilers, every year, they have great season tickets sell record and every year, they traded their best players away . I think the fans care more about the team than the individual player.

They didn't win many but didn't lose many either. They were working as hard as the Nucks, all those OTs.
