The commentator insists that this is women's tennis at its absolute peak and the greatest match ever. In terms of inducing hard-ons, maybe. Otherwise, I'm confused.

Sunshines nails are one reason I never liked her, along with all the jewellery that looks like its from Argos. I'm quite shallow. OTOH her dress is slightly too short. I approve of this.

Why Caro's dress is so far up her ass? It looks good and everything, but feels so desperate. Anyway, i still wish for both of them to lose, meh. I'll know who I'd have prefered to win after i see the result in the morning. Sunshine should win in in 2 from what i've seen.

edit: Coria doesnt really belong to that list, his strokes wee quite clean

I really haven't seen enough of her matches to form a proper opinion, but from the little I have seen, I would agree with eltennislurker with his/her point re: playing style being similar to the ones mentioned, but talent wise? Just... no. Corswandt has said before how her timing is not great and she shanks a LOT of balls, which I have also seen a lot of, but she has never really come across as a flat out pusher. Shrug.
Whatever, though.

Hey all just watched Kveta/Aisam on Court 11. What a lovely team Kveta played amazing, had no trouble at all handling Cuevas' pace. Haven't watched much women's tennis since Wimbledon but I have to say Caro is a very good player. Sure, she is pushing a lot but then also hitting winners with ease like in the last game.

So I take it Aisam/Kveta won? I've never been a Woz-hater, but I know she's sometimes, not always, just a pusher and a retriever. But I like it when speedy players can retrieve seemingly un-retrievable balls and torment the big bashers; that is music to my eyes. I also like when players can change their games when needed, and I liked the way she played today, especially on the last point of the match.

This is a bit silly but how is Continental's name plastered all over the boards? Continental merged with United several months ago and the new company is called United. No. They announced intent to merge months ago, but only got regulatory approval within the last couple of weeks. They are still two completely separate entities, and will remain so until the merger goes to shareholder vote later this month.
