Remember the classic with Naa Lee in Melbourne? I happily slept through it. AO is the toughest slam for us timezone wise.

I had no doubt that Kim will get ahead in the 3rd. Venus hasn't won a big match in forever. Plus the more I realize I want St.Kim to lose, the more I'm sure she's gonna win.

I was sort of hoping eleVenus would win, just to see if Bepa wears her pajama top in the final against her. And also because Venus is more likely to hit 378564983749 UEs.

Yes it's pyjama. This is still too shitty on both sides to call. Either one could (and will!) turn it up or screw it up several times before this is over.

This match is both unexciting and tense. I didn't even know that was possible.

Dreadful match. Vera should crush both.

Venus is bouncing the ball even more than Hantu does. Please end this.

Poor Vee. Oh, well, I was always going to root for Bepa no matter what. In the US, we spell it "pajamas". I have no idea if Canada goes with the Brits or the US.

I missed Bepa's triumph (last day at work yay) So what changed between Montreal and this match? Push's tiredness? Bepa's serve? The wind? I don't put that much stock in the Montréal win. Sweta checked out of that tournament when it was supposed to end, and Bepa checked out once she lost the first set. Everyone was just thinking about the USO by the end. Just watched a clip of the KFC/Venus TB. Quite possibly the worst TB I've seen in my life.

The inevitable Bepa choke/suck/lose to KFC will be more tolerable than the inevitable choke/suck/lose to FVW would have been, IMO, for some reason.

I really think Bepa will win this one. I should not do this.
Also, a lose to CoCo freaking Vandeweghe between 2 consecutive slam finals. :azza:

Seriously. Lee Na, no. Just don't. Start adjusting to the upcoming 2-6 7-6(5) 6-4 loss.

I'm expecting another 6-3 6-4 loss after a tedious, nervous match by both players.

I'm with Thomas Enqvist on this one.
