Bryans won the first set. Don't they care about World Peace?

Indo/Pak. I can't dislike Vera anymore since her coach is Mr. Demekhine.

Yeah, Bepa's hitting partner, as they're calling him, is darned good-looking.
And how about out Bepa! Wow is she playing so well. Hope Woz can raise her game too, and make a match of this.

Three great points to take the set. Perfect dropshot-lob combo then two gorgeous volleys. Now just anticipating the eventual choke in the second set, then third set bagel.

She was more solid than her rackets.

Nice match, Bepa! Don't know what was the matter with Woz; she's not usually an error queen at all. But she sure didn't have the goods today.

Nice match, Bepa! Don't know what was the matter with Woz; she's not usually an error queen at all. But she sure didn't have the goods today. That's the usual Woz when she needs to be aggressive. She's very good at being a wall and making occasional winner or counter-attack. But when she plays another player who can be a wall a la Vera, she needs to make more winners happen, she tries to do it and the errors come. Pretty easy errors as well, only because she's not used to it. Well done Vera, at least I have a player to root for in the final, even if I don't believe she'll win it. But Vera's composure was incredible today and WTF was with her rackets?

Words cannot do justice to the extent to which Dick Enberg blows.

Was that the guy with Virginia Wade? Who thought umpires shouldn't say whether the ball was out or not?

Pretty easy errors as well, only because she's not used to it. Ah, that was my suspicion. She'll just have to figure out a way to beat those players. But Bepa played a great match and no longer loses her mind, so it would have been hard to beat her with anything Woz has in her current arsenal.

Was that the guy with Virginia Wade? Who thought umpires shouldn't say whether the ball was out or not? I was wondering who that was, too. I finally muted him. I already heard him go on and on about this the other night; enough is enough.

I thought Woz looked a bit tired - I knew her stupid schedule would catch up to her. Hardly any amazing defensive points from her.

Bepa Two slam finals in a row. Who would have thought that... ever. I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that this next match is going to be a clusterfuck.

I thought Woz looked a bit tired - I knew her stupid schedule would catch up to her. Hardly any amazing defensive points from her. I think the continuing winds have helped to wear her out. She was starting to look worse, less Wozlike, already in her previous match.

I missed Bepa's triumph (last day at work yay) So what changed between Montreal and this match? Push's tiredness? Bepa's serve? The wind?
Queen Vee is playing quite well again. Kimmie looks good aside from her tennis.

Is it me or this match is a complete bore? It's s typical 'who'll make the errors first' match. Kim played awfully in the 2nd, yes still won because Venus was set on playing even worse.
