So what does Murray do right now? HOLD serve, please. Then swing for the fences and start this match from scratch. And be more god damned aggressive. What else can he do? Wait and hope for Novak to implode? Which is not going to happen.

Yeah. Mecir also lost two without winning. Ivanisevic should really belong to that list and have the all-time worst mark at 0-4. Thank you, Rafter.

This reminds me that I was meaning to have a Novak face tshirt printed up for my step sister, just because. She's not a big fan of his or anything, but will understand why this is hilarious and possibly even wear it once.

I haven't seen them all put them on for a trophy ceremony and stand up with them yet, though. This could be the moment, coming up, right here! Let's hope, Fatty.

How is it possible to remain so pale throughout a fortnight of outdoor tennis in Australia. Murray's matches must have been scheduled at night obviously.

Murray is more Bepa than Kim. Except looks wise, of course. Poor Kim and Andy's faces. I really just meant that Andy might mature and figure out a way to turn these matches in his favour one day. Or maybe everybody ahead of him will retire or go to fashion school. That would help, too.

I think Lendl has the record, he lost one french open final to borg, and two us open final to connors (perhaps 3, 2 to connors and a third to mcenroe, I am not sure)
btw, Murray has much less potential that early choking underachieving lendl
I want Murray to win the next to sets because I want fun

I imagine them as study buddies. On the rare occasion that one can't make it to class, the one who could attend drops by the other's dorm with the notes he missed, and an impromptu sewing party commences.

Lendl did lose his first four Slam finals. Murray can be encouraged by that?
On the women's side, people know Safina is 0-3 in Slam finals and they may even remember that Mary Joe went 0-3 but they do not hold the record. No, that belongs to Helena Sukova! 0-4. Two Australian Open finals, two at the US Open.

Murray can be forgiven for losing his first two. Nobody is going to look back on those and find it hard to believe that he couldn't beat Federer. It's the way in which he lost, by completely stinking up the joint that was a cause for concern; the fact that he continues to display the same level of fight against a guy that he's at least in the same ball park in is not a good sign.
It's possible that Murray wasn't as bad in his first final as I recall, and that I've only chosen to recall that he stunk up the joint to make a poorly constructed point.

I didn't see the US Open final. Last year's final he was okay ... definitely picked it up in the third set. This year, he is atrocious.
