They just asked Novak how to say Happy Birthday in Serbian and then he said thank you in Serbian as well - I knew both words as it's the same in Croatian!

Ivo wins the first set against JMDP. 9-7 in the tie-break, some silly mistakes from JMDP.
Youzhny up a set as well.
Petrova wins the opening set against Rodionova in a tie-break.

The quality of play in the Begu/Rezai match made me genuinely feel a bit ill.

I just saw the Caravane score! What the heck happened to her out there? Oh, well, at least it's a ROU that advances undeservedly. Oudin, 2 games.

Petrova losing to Rodionova on clay?

Petrova is ova. Shocker to me is Christine McHale, now leading clayGOAT 4-0 in the 3rd.

JMDP is looking pretty good, which is great to see. Karlovic also playing well, though, so it's an interesting match.

Tennis Channel has not noticed this epic chokefest yet, even though they normally try to pay some attention to the young US players ... maybe after Nole wins someone will notice ...

Errani wins 9-7 saving 2 mps. They insist on giving me coverage of Mirza-Barrois, though.

Errani wins 9-7 saving 2 mps. They insist on giving me coverage of Mirza-Barrois, though. Pretty disappointing from Barrois there; too bad. But Llodra won the first set, and that's more important.

I am caught up in this psychological battle inside Coco V's head as she tries to regather herself after her first-set choking. Kirilenko doing a good job not letting Coco back in. But this Coco's best effort in a Slam main draw yet, reaching a tb (though after leading 5-3, that sounds not so great.)
I think Cake is injured, isn't she? Didn't she retire in a match a few days ago?
