Dulko said she has a 20% chance of beating Stosur
Federer said that if Pony is healthy he can beat Novak, and that had he been healthy last year he could have won the French open last year

Scheepers is defending lots of points from last year, right? Already defeated Kirilenko in Doha, I think, and she has a good shot at reaching the 3rd round again.

I'm hoping Stosur and Nole lose, but from the looks of things I'd have to rate both as the title favourites at this point.

Radwanska knocks out Mirza 6-2, 6-4. If Sania wouldn't make 43242 errors and 23132 doublefaults in every game, she wouldn't be half bad.

St Kim up 5-2 and lost the set. Rus! Rus! Rus! -- but will go all women's tennis now, we all know. Still, fun atm

Battle of the ROUs way out on court 17. Probably just as well. Kim DFs to go down a break in set 3. Have "the wheels come off" as they say? But at 2-1, Rus still has a lot of time left to choke like a dog, or to get fatigued, or to start cramping and going all Lisicki.

Now she's down a double break at 4-1. I think she's mentally checked out of this match. Congrats Rus!

Silly me for thinking her mentally checking out made a difference. I keep forgetting it doesn't matter! The choking dog will always come out. Deuce now! Gasp!

Rus holds for 5-1. Double gasp!
Can Rus do what Ivanovic couldn't - convert a 5-1 final set lead against Kim?

Kim is handing out the errors now. 0-30.

Wow! Finally something to get excited about on the women's side! And the Queen of Nice is looking absolutely surly! Curt wave to the crowd. And Maria rejoices ...

How can that be? From what I know Rus is no good at tennis.

So I only began watching from the end of the second set. Apparently Kim led 6-3, 5-2 and had two matchpoints.
In other news, Cirstea defeated Dulgheru 6-2, 7-5. This is good because Cirstea is cute.
