Sharapova grunts like a bird of prey, makes me think of a Condor attacking a lamb And poor Chalky Barbie was the lamb.

Tammy won In order to take up her traditional place in the last 16, she'll have to get past Serena...

And Vandeweghe, the Future of American Tennis, is now 0-6 in Slam matches, 0-12 in Slam sets.

Falla. Nice job by Gorila to beat the 22 seed Girlie - only his second main draw win of the year. Nishikori. Oudin. Wow, Barbie-Smith almost beat the Zak! Dave Stebe is down 2 sets and a break to 6-Pack.

Nobody mentioned Harrison's win over Dodig possibly because ESPN must have 38295919861 times. Good win though.
Dolgopolov has suckedolov for a while, huh?
By the way, Dubois beating Falconi marks only her second victory in a Grand Slam main draw.
Ivanovic d. Oudin 0 and 1 isn't making me reconsider what I said about her in relation to McHale yesterday.
Oprandi got one game from LDL? Are you kidding me?
Wouldn't it be priceless if Daniilidou defeated Ivanovic?
When Eleni reached the fourth round here, way back in 2002, I thought her career would work out so much better. Not that I'm complaining terribly.
Who did she lose to that year? Was it JenFat?
According to Wimbledon's website, this is Tammy's first Tour level win of 2011.

I totally expect Daniilidou to beat BAG.
Oprandi still apparently injured from the Dutch tournament.
Serena is an odd one.
Q. Do you hold the restaurant where the incident took place culpable?
SERENA WILLIAMS: No. At the end of the day, they can't do anything for me. I can't do anything for them. There's absolutely nothing that can be done. I don't really dwell on the past. What can I do? What can they do?
Q. You come from a litigious culture. You've lost $6.5 million potentially that you could have earned as the result of the negligence. I mean, what was the restaurant called?
SERENA WILLIAMS: Honestly, I don't know the name. I can tell you, I've never been like that. I've never been like a greedy person. I've been sued before. It was a terrible feeling. I would never want to put anyone through that. It was what it was.
I mean...the rest of it, whatever, she enjoys the moral high ground. And then she just dumps something that has to be an outright lie in the middle of it.

Chaks forehand is like a forehand from 1986 Looks like an Eastern or close to it. Chak hits everyting nearly spinless, but the most remarkable thing about that FH is (or used to be) that she could hit it CC, DTL or in-out from the exact same stance. It was impossible to read.

Oprandi still apparently injured from the Dutch tournament. Very much so. She was already bandaged up all over the place -- knee, thighs, forearm -- BEFORE she fell on her wrist in Holland, the opposite wrist to the forearm taping. And that wrist looked like it was really hurting her; probably she should not have continued the match. She is probably my favorite player now, which is a shame because I think, despite her sturdy appearance, she has a fragile body, a la Babs Schwartz.

I love Oprandi, but she looks unfit, not sturdy! And that is probably why she is so fragile.
