When Lisicki/Bartoli is one of your Wimbledon marquee matches, you know things have changed.
I'm surprised they didn't put the Shock Semifinalist match-up on CC -- then they could have kept the matches in each half playing simultaneously. But Bartoli is probably more famous in the UK than she is anywhere else.

Anyway, go.
CAKE. SexyDomi. Kvitty. Mimi.
The only one I would be pissed off about is Kvitty losing to Tsveti. That should really not happen. An Azza win would suck, but I don't expect Mimi to beat her. The other two I'd have no real qualms about going the other way.
I'm done. Go.

I have an interview at 2pm. I will probably miss most of these.
I think we all have the same opinions on how they should go though: CAKE, SexyDomi, Kvitty, Tits. I assume CAKE and Kvitty will uphold that and Tits will not (I can't see how she can hit through Azza without a volley). SexyDomi...has a chance. A slight one. The only one I foresee being potentially nailbiting.

Also, I might go to Paris on Wednesday, thus missing the men's QFs as well. I don't think I'd be missing much.

I think Lisicki will give Bartoli the tussle. I do not think SexyDomi will give too much trouble to Ma$ha.

I feel you're underestimating Sabine and 'Svetlana' there. I fear a Sharapova-Azarenka final. I'd have to watch the girls again. With earplugs.

I'm definitely not underestimating Sabine...but I just think CAKE is tougher than her right now. Lisicki took a while to really get Cetkovska under control and both her groundstroke consistency and return game are flaws that CAKE can exploit.
If Pironkova beats Kvitty, I don't think I'll even be that upset because it'd be so nutsy.
SexyDomi aims for the lines and can make Maria move. Of course, that might not be enough...but she'll have the right approach, unlike Peng today.

Even though I have to listen her on mute, I'd prefer VikiLegs to win this one. Tits is a lazy failure.
Also, CAKE/Lisicki, either is fine, although I think CAKE has a better shot to beat Ma$ha (although their H2H is not good, sigh).
I want Kvitty to establish herself as a top player here. SEWTA needs her.
I think Domi has about a 50/50 shot of winning. Ma$ha still isn't that good, you move her, you win. She's still miles behind her early 2008 SuperMaria level.

CAKE Evil Queen Maria Kvitova TITS
I'd be pleased with Tsveti winning too - she played really well today. I worry Sabine's GOAT serving might overwhelm CAKE, but I'm hoping our CAKE can find that something extra. She played really well today against Ree.
Azza really has the best opportunity to end her QF streak here - she's almost always had to play top players in her previous QF matches.
Masha should win comfortably - if she goes three sets, it's a bad sign. The draw is wide open for her bar Kvitova in the final.

Tits and Domi. The other matches I'm ambivalent about and would almost prefer Sabine and Tsveti for the OMGWTFBBQ factor.

Tsveti is really cute when she's dolled up. She could add a few pounds, though.

We discussed this last year (we probably will always -- and only -- at Wimbledon) and Tsvetana does not compare to Mama Radosveta.

This "Pironkova is hot" meme has always perplexed me. She has a weird pointy hairline, a mustache, and a bizarre overbite. Or is it like with men, where faces NOC? Oh....now I get it. Tsveti's mother looks exactly like her. That's pretty hot at 40. So...you ride the weird stuff out to land a MILF till you die. A good plan. This "Pironkova is hot" meme has always perplexed me. She has a weird pointy hairline, a mustache, and a bizarre overbite. Or is it like with men, where faces NOC? She isn't hot, she's pretty. And I didn't think that when I'd seen her matches or pics in previous years, so you can imagine my surprise. It's not a body thing, like it is with Caro who has a smoking bod but average face. I just like looking at Pironkova. Oh....now I get it. Tsveti's mother looks exactly like her. That's pretty hot at 40. So...you ride the weird stuff out to land a MILF till you die. A good plan. I didn't give this much thought, but the more I think of it the more I like the plan. Thanks! This "Pironkova is hot" meme has always perplexed me. She has a weird pointy hairline, a mustache, and a bizarre overbite. Or is it like with men, where faces NOC?I think it's more the opposite. Long torso and short legs - she hasn't got the stereotypical leggy female tennis player build, but her face and overall presence make up for it. (BTW Pironkova's unusual proportions actually help her a lot on grass - she has a lower center of gravity than her leggier counterparts) She has very pretty, lively eyes. Beautiful dark hair. She's a devastatingly cute tomboy. Plus those intangibles that you can't quite put into words - I remember when she was here at the Biggest, Bestest Tournament in the World, whenever she showed up in her shiny white tracksuit you couldn't take your eyes off her. Like Ali said: "I just like looking at Pironkova". And yes, Radosveta is amaze. A figure like a teenager's.

It's her eyes. Big, brown ones like hers tend to be mesmerizing. Her cock sucking lips don't hurt, either.

Cake has come out flat today - just not as sharp on the serve or off the ground. The Brit is Chris Bradnam in the commentary booth.

I feel like Sabine was is more distracted by the noize than Marion. Otherwise the set would be over now.
