Goooooo
SuperPetra Boom Boom Bine
Actually, I'm not so concerned about the latter. I like Sabine but not that much, and I'm still bitter about the Li loss. And SuperPetra getting to go buckwild on Ma$ha in the final would be a lot more satisfying for many reasons.
But Kvitova absolutely must win her SF.

Geaux.
NonBanshee NonBanshee
A shriekless final would be ideal. A bark-shriek final I might be able to live with.

I had no recollection of Shriekbot trouncing Appelmans just a couple months ago in Miami, 62 60. I really regret having looked up the H2H because it swept away my last, already-negligible sliver of hope.
Kvitty recent H2H over Aza favors Kvitty, though, so that's a tiny bit of solace. Very tiny, because I'd rather have Aza in the final than Shriekbot the suddenly über-patriotic faux Russian lover of Fed Cup as the Olympics approaches.
Okay, now I have to go find out what language this one is.

Azarenka is kinda hot, but she is also the whose shrieking makes me think shut the fuck up please
I want KVITY vs Masha final, only because I don't care for Lisicki and I think it is better for "the sport" to have at least a famous finalist

I've just realised that, apart from half-watching the first set of her Cetkovska match, I haven't seen Lisicki play at all this tournament. Happened to miss both of her alleged GOAT performances against Li and Cake.

Evil Queen Maria and Kvitova in the final, please. With the Evil Queen winning her fourth and final GS singles title on Saturday as all of us weep with joy at a successful return from injury

You're ready for her to retire after that then? She can't equal Hingis in Slams - it will lead to gnashing of teeth amongst other things. So yes, once she reaches Slam #4, I'm done.

Muster should be playing on the doubles tour, seeing how Martin Damm at 40 or so is still around.

I see that Kvitty saved at least 1 break point in the opening game and held her serve, I approve of the 2nd part.

Aza is playing really well, considering it's her 1st SF. Right now it feels like it is 2 top players playing each other. Let's see if it lasts. Kvitty has her thigh strapped.

That last ball looked out, no?
Anyway, I haven't seen too much of Kvitty play, but her striking and depth is wow-za.
