This is BOOSHIT, as Troicki would say, it's not like GOATsha has turned up for this 2nd set, Lisicka has fallen apart.

SEWTA 2011 in a nutshell. Instead of choking near the finish line, players collapse from 3-0 up. Instead of slumping after reaching the top 10, players spiral down after getting into the top 50 for the first time.

Yep, Edna. Maria's not playing much better. She's just cut down on the DFs (but still throwing the odd one in) and moving the ball around while Lisicki implodes.
The rain will save Lisicki. It's drizzling.

Shut up, Lisicka, you're playing like crap and it's all your fault.

It's drizzling. You actually think that a break will help Lisicki win. Riiiiight. Only now do I recall how terrible Lisicki's first Slam QF was. Remember that Safina match? The one we thought we'd banished from our memories forever?

Sad for Lisicki, but let's face it, this match was NID.

It was ID for meeee! I didn't know about her past shenanigans and she didn't seem to have a letdown after beating Na.
Oh Na, Li Na would be taking care of business about now.
Hell, Cake would've made it competitive at least.

2 Masha DFs and we have a break back. Sharapova's run of 9 of the last 10 games comes to an end. Booo.

Big deal. It will prove to be meaningless, as even you know, Ali!
I only wish I hadn't missed my chance to watch Lindsay and Martina.

That net cord at 0-40 could be a turning point! Or not. She gets broken.
You're right, Janie. Alex and I are getting our dream final.

So Kvitova will win the first set 6-1 (having held SPs for a bagel) and then FIGHTING Masha will show up and win the remaining sets 6-3 6-2.

Even when Shitty Kvitty showed up, she was holding serve against Azza. Azza would have won against either one of these hapless hacks playing right now. Kvitty would really need to fall apart like Lisicki has. I'm getting visions of AO 2007 except not as clean or good as Serena.

SHARAPOVA, Maria (RUS) Versus Petra KVITOVA (CZE) 2010 Memphis SF Hard (I) M.SHARAPOVA 6-4 6-3 Maria SHARAPOVA (RUS) Leads Petra KVITOVA (CZE) : 1 to 0 *
So much for Memphis having a pathetically weak field (unless it does, and Wimbledon has a pathetically weak final!).

It's all over but the crying. I'm crying now! Ewww, the writing is on the wall for the Astounding Comeback Wimbledon Queen's 2nd title. I don't think Kvitty has a chance in hell, with a whopping extra serving of "WIMBY FINAL!!!!" nerves laid on, and I don't think it's going to be even close. Maria won't be nervous because she thinks she belongs there, and unfortunately, she does.

Maria was super-nervous today. DFs flowing even when the result was NID. Anything could happen, but Kvitova has a great chance.
