You don't want to break for the match? Really? You're feeling that confident on your serve to just throw away returns? Really? She wanted to end it with an ace.

The last time I was happy about the outcome of the Wimbledon final was in 1999 (and kinda in 2004). It was damn bloody time already.

I wonder about the reaction in Czech Republic! "Petro, pojd'! Mario, dnes ne!" "Kvitová vyhrála Wimbledon! Česko se raduje po 13 letech" "Pohádka dovršena. Kvitová má titul z Wimbledonu!"

The Keothavong trend continues with this, too (every time she's made the Wim 2R, she's lost to the eventual champ).
LOL, Jana thinking about how it was never so easy for her.

First Wimbledon champ to have TWO Challenger losses on her record in the past four months?

I was just informed that Petra is #2 in the Race, and I seriously can't think of anyone who'd be or should be 1st. Oh, SEWTA!

Petra's genuine shyness and awkwardness was so refreshing compared to Ma$ha's bullshit showiness. And she's actually gotten better at speaking.

Ma$ha = Tiger Woods in that way, with their corporate teflon coating. Though I don't think Maria is getting up to the same antics behind the scene as TW turned out to be doing.

As a technophobe, I have no idea how to find a "deadstream" or whatever you'd call it to watch a replay of this match. Can anyone lead me to a place? It would be especially fun if Tracy Austin is announcing and has to watch her beloved go down. :schadenfreude:
