Oh, Lee, Na. She just can't play Samanantha.

1 and 0? Oh, Lee Na, stop being useless. That's the kind of scoreline you expect from a dead rubber. Meanwhile, I see that A-Rad, in need of just one set, managed to choke that set away from 5-1 up

Srsly re: Radwanska. This is our saviour?
The worst part is, choking from *5-1 isn't even considered extraordinary these days.

Did Bartoli ever play? I've lost track here.

The worst part about the A-Rad performance is that she didn't even need to win the match. JUST ONE SET. YOU WERE 5-1 UP.
I'm pleased Kvitova didn't tank though. Would have been easy to do. Give these bitches no quarter, Petra.
Cake plays next (now?) against Azza.

I was hoping Aga would get a set. Vera could have used a rest.

Bartoli, for the first time in the history of the planet, delivers a quality showing as an Alternate. I was not expecting that. It was a dead rubber for Azarenka, but still.
Too bad about A-Rad. Really happy about Kvitova going 3-0 and 6-0 in sets.
So Vera gets in which feels wrong but there you have it. The final four consists of two of the three Slam champs this year which isn't so bad.
Stosur meets Kvitova in one semi ... Petra has beaten her twice. Both times in Grand Slam play. I watched some of their match in Australia this year and Petra was formidable. I think she poses a huge threat to Stosur. I favor Kvitova but Sam is showing that many things are possible lately that you would not have thought.
Vera reaches the semis somehow and will meet Azarenka. Vera has a big lead in the lifetime h2h (6-3) but their last match was in Miami this year and Aza destroyed her 0 and 3. On form, you have to like Aza but this is the WTA so it will probably be Vera. It would be fitting for her to win the semi and lose the final pulling a Mauresmo (get a shitload of points for going 2-3).

I expect an Azza-Kvitova final since they've been the best players in RR play. However, Vera might have an outside shot seeing as Vika didn't tank but fought till the very end.

Petra drew 3 good opponents for her. Get it done.

I must say it's a bloody miracle that after playing terribly basically ALL YEAR, and at no point visibly improving or getting it together, Bepa is somehow in the YEC SF. How did that happen?

Vika didn't tank but fought till the very end. Toria tanked outrageously. For most of the match, wouldn't move for anything that landed more than a couple of meters away from her, intentionally missed ROS and routine groundstrokes here and there, and kept pouting as if to say "I don't want to be here".

How do you tank outrageously and still end up going 4-6 in the third? I mean...SEWTA shouldn't surprise us, but...WTF happened.

Vika let a ball go and it landed out and she was disappointed LOL She won 2 service games to love in 3rd set without trying Bartoli was 40-0 up, 3 match pts, Vika hits return and runs towards net and it ends up as a winner. OOPS scoreline being that close is more to Bartoli's failings
