I watched it but the camerawork and yakking made it impossible to follow.
I guess the most intriguing 1R is Verdasco-Tomic.

Also in spite of MTF saying it can/will never happen, Nadal and Federer are in the same half.

Hopefully the tournament will be de-Isnered by Nalbandian.
I would love to see Haase beat Roddick. If not him, maybe Raonic.
Pretty easy draw for Federer. I suppose Melzer did beat him last year but eh.
I think Murray should get it over with by losing to Harrison in round one.
I think:
Djokovic v. Raonic Gasquet v. Ferrer
Murray v. Bellucci Nishikori v. Tsonga
Kohlschreiber v. Del Potro Verdasco v. Federer
Berdych v. Wawrinka Lopez v. Nadal
------
Djokovic v. Ferrer Murray v. Tsonga
Del Potro v. Federer Berdych v. Nadal
--------
Djokovic v. Tsonga Federer v. Nadal
--------
Djokovic v. Federer
--------
Djokovic.

Heh, seeing Roddick seeded that low. Even lower at future Slams please! Whyyyyy is Fish still a top 8 seed though. Good for the draw's balance that Pony ended up in that section.
Verdasco/Tomic...FeVer could totally dominate that, but it's just the sort of match he chumps up sulkily, too.
I wonder how bad Federer's back is. I'm inclined to take it more seriously than the other assorted pre-Slam injuries because of how rarely he w/ds from tournaments. He has a sweet draw though.
Predix.
Djokovic d. Raonic Ferrer d. Gasquet Murray d. Monfils Tsonga d. Benneteau Del Potro d. Kohlschreiber Federer d. Tomic Dimitrov d. Q Nadal d. Lopez
Djokovic d. Ferrer Tsonga d. Murray Federer d. Del Potro Nadal d. Dimitrov
Djokovic d. Tsonga Nadal d. Federer
Djokovic d. Nadal

I would love to see Haase beat Roddick. I actually want to see that too. Roddick doesn't even care anymore. Let the Dutch hottie get his ranking up. R16: Djokovic-Raonic, Gasquet-Ferrer, Murray-Monfils, Nishikori-Tsonga, Kohlschreiber-Del Potro, Dolgopolov-Federer, Berdych-Dimitrov, Davydenko-Nadal QF: Djokovic-Ferrer, Murray-Tsonga, Del Potro-Federer, Berdych-Nadal SF: Djokovic-Murray, Federer-Nadal F: Djokovic def Nadal

I think he is too...I just don't know if it happens this Slam. Maybe one of the last two?

I definitely think that right now, if it turns out that Djokovic hasn't kept his 2011 level, JWT is the most likely to take advantage of that.

Do you guys really think Nadal will BS a final run here? After all that moaning and bitching all fall? I had half a mind to think he was going out earlier than the semis. I would not be shocked. It seems to me like his motivation is not high.

Rafa has a history of moaning and bitching while beating everyone though, often en route to Slam victory. And starting a new year is usually good for him.

It sure helps that it's unlikely anyone will beat him up to the SF, at which point he gets to once again violate his bitch.

Yeeeah, I don't know. I think Fed can put the past behind him and win. WTF was a pretty promising result.

No we didn't.
I have 5 of 8 so far. Missed Kohlschreiber, Almagro and Lopez.

I wasn't counting you. I was counting non-sages.
I'm doing well so far! 6/8. I missed only Tomic and Almagro.
Lex is 6/8 too. If only he hadn't gone crazy with the Berdych quarter ...
Hurley's 5/8.
I'm getting a bit nervous for Fed with the way Del Potro is looking. I ... wonder if that might turn into an upset.

I should have probably come back after the Qs were placed and no likely Q was placed in the Berdprych section.
So nearly with my Benneteau pick too.

I had to make sure Murray lost in the QF in my predix so it wouldn't happen in reality. Yes, that makes perfect sense.
