Yeah, it did! Doesn't look like JJ's out of danger yet, though. Just noticed my guy Jaziri is up 2 sets.

Heh, Rog finally put away Tobias. No JesusFed today, but JF was not needed, nor will he be needed for the next few rounds, looking at the draw.

McHale fights through nerves and manages to close out big-hitting Bertens. She gets Lauren Davis next.

Not at all surprised about King Kolya. Seppi is playing well, and Kolya's loss to Brian Baker had to be a career killer. A little surprised that Petrova didn't have a harder time with Benesova. Why was Dancevic wasting a space in the draw? Latisha! TUN! Robson. Thunder. Why did I pick Azza to win the tournament? She's going nowhere playing that that.

I'm going to root for Llodra. Let bygones be bygones, I say, when you're talking about the only serve & volleyer left on the planet!
Fun to see Potito on tv. Brad Gilbert is dissing his serve.

So ESPN2 has a new idea: now and then, update us on other matches around the grounds, but ONLY the matches featuring USians! Whi the hell did this lame idea come from, Irina Falconi?

Su-Wei leads Pennetta 76 Day of surprises! The commentators are stunned that Potito has stayed even with the Tennis so far. Llodra - GGL makes for bery bery good watching. First set to ML. The Spanish commentators are calling GGL "Weely". Who knew?

I'm watching Beth-Sabine which is a total trainwreck. This is the match we've got on ESPN2 now, too, because Tennis Channel gets the better matches. Sabine is waking up, but is it too late? I feel bad for both of these players but would rather see Appelmans win this one.

Watched a bit of Azza versus Brianti and it was so tragic. Brianti played really well as long as she believed that she has no chance of winning. Once she and everybody else watching the match realized the win is up for grabs, she couldn't find the court anymore.

That's classic playbook women's tennis! Llodra was sailing along, lost his way now down a break in the 3rd. Maybe he was infected with a bit of Brianti-head, too.
