No-tiebreak final sets are cool except when Isner is involved.

Great - another perfectly good day of tennis ruined by an endless Isner match. Exactly. Although, it has been a pretty boring day. Uh, Razzano. She never could be consistent, could she? And I wonder whether Tuesday's cramps were a factor? I differ with Hurley - McHale can beat Li. It would be perfectly in keeping with the SEWTA playbook for Li to lose 3r here. Shvedova-CSN is a big opportunity for them both. No idea who will win. Hope Fran doesn't freak out and lose to Lepchenko. She PROBABLY won't. But Kvitova is so beating her. Right? Kanepi is a very good Woz-beating candidate. She could win that.

Great - another perfectly good day of tennis ruined by an endless Isner match. I love how every time they talk about Isner-Mahut, it is discussed as "surely THIS is a record that will never be broken." It'll probably be broken on fucking Saturday, if not at some other Slam next year. I like the kid but...maybe it's finally come to the extreme serving machine matches we foresaw during the Philippoussis/Krajicek era. Except it seems like he's the only one in a sea of top players who DON'T do that. Weird.

SHE'S GOING TO BEAT SERENA WILLIAMS AND THEN LOSE TO ARANTXA RUS. Brain-bending. This was always going to happen, because of La Razz's physical travails in the Silliams match if not for the...myriad other reasons. Before we start talking McHale up too much, let's bear in mind she lost to JaJa 2 and 0 a few months ago, and hasn't really gone up a level since. JaJa losing to Lepchenko was always going to happen now. Varvara beat Fran a couple of weeks ago...and Fran went to three against Sexy Tsveti...looks likely that both Stephens and Lepchenko will make the 4R, and Varvara goes to the Olympics. Poor Vania Bratchikova in two consecutive Slam 3Rs *boggles* Shvedova revival is welcome. Finally back in the top 100, I think. Ay yi yi potential Gorgeous run. STOP HER SOMEONE. Kirilenko choke YASSSSSS Lulz at another Isner marathon. Amazed that MATHIEU of all people won a match like that. Jaziri and Granola will play their fifth set tomorrow - it'd be awesome if Jaziri could take that and then play the Rus to Mathieu's Razz. All the tweets I saw seemed divided on whether Murray was genuinely injured and Nieminen just pulled a Hantuchova, or whether Murray was being a drama queen...

Maybe you should learn to say what you mean before you decide to impugn others who have the wherewithal to set you straight. I mean, I'm just saying.
