It's still great, though. Fed has to bring JesusFed to town, and watching that player is fun, too. Anyway I never expected Boy G to actually win, though it would be fun if he did. Yep, exactly. Goffin already exceeded any expectations.

My favorite Goffin stories have been "This Belgian actually tries unlike the others recently!". Because it's true, except for Oli.
2 sets to Seppi, WHYYY. He's the current day Schalken. I'm surprised there's no intolerant subfactions on this board that lurrrrve Seppi.

I have no idea why, but reading Errani def Kuznetsova 6-0, 7-5 reminded me of Dementieva def Suarez 6-0, 7-5 from 8 years ago. THAT was a nightmare to watch - maybe things aren't so bad now. That was the year SEWTA began its death. Ah, the days when I was young and thought Demented could do anything in slams.

DavEED's danged bedroom walls plastered with Fed posters yet again -- we must be told this once every 15 minutes, I suppose. Thanks, Elise, because we had forgotten from the last time you said it.

I do like Goffin, though. He's a natural with his strokes and gets into position with ease, which is becoming rare these days. He should be around for a while.

At least you heard it from the boy himself! In that case, it's okay. Of course our commentator didn't realize Goffin was talking about it to the crowd; she just loved the story too much to let it drop. Well that was so fun, it seems shocking that there are still more matches to play.

The bottom half could have any of Li/Kvitova/Sharapova in the final.
