I appreciate things like an Almagro/Nadal QF, it's one less match I have to watch and therefore a bit more time to do life things in this week.

Sharapova and Zakopalova exchanging breaks. The conditions are a factor and this match could be tricky as I expected. Please, Ali. Use your brain! Honestly, it should be 3-2 instead of 4-1 right now. Sharapova took an eternity before deciding to question a call, but the umpire went with it. Both players really struggling with the wind. Oh and Jo Durie agrees with me that this could be a tricky match.

I'm so glad both unfinished matches were finished quickly, for the players' sake. Delpo's knee worries me. Now he has extra time for treatment.
Berdych was terrible in the last game. I think he lost it 0-40.
And Ali, a commentator saying "tricky" ≠ "the outcome is in doubt". They just don't want people to leave the tv set.
Now Li Na!

Fair points. I'm not worried anymore after seeing her hand a break back immediately after breaking Masha again.
Yes janie, Delpo broke at love to win.

Too bad Klara missed that return at BP. Maria's serve is so vulnerable in these conditions, she really has a chance here.

I've never seen Zakopalova so much as crack a smile or look remotely happy to be on court ever but she's put together a respectable, solid pro career over the past decade so I guess she loves tennis more than she lets on?

Someone else might have a chance here, Klara doesn't have the right brain. If these conditions persist, I really think Kanepi could have a chance, as long as she's got her choking out of her system, which yeah no.

If these conditions persist, I really think Kanepi could have a chance, as long as she's got her choking out of her system, which yeah no. Yeah, my brain went through those same steps, too. Also Kanepi's nerves will not be improved by the long wait in store for her today, maybe into tomorrow.

Na stays down a break after allowing Shved to hold serve for once. I just wish Na were a player I could have more faith in. Sharapova fans have been very lucky for the past year that they can trust their player not to blow, at least not before finals.
