Petra NEEDS TO WIN THIS. It would just be a giant mess for her if she can't get past Shvedova, who is a good player, obviously, but...WIMBLEDON CHAMPION COME ON WHORE

Kaia needs to win. Then I can enjoy the women's side.
Also, I hate simultaneous QFs. Install some damn lights.

It's going to rain tomorrow night anyway. I'd be pissed if I were the men playing. Why not start at noon?

Sharapova & Kanepi already exchanged breaks by hitting 2 double faults each!

Masha and KKK serve two doublefaults each and are at 1-1 after trading breaks. This won't be a high quality match by any means.

Yeah and Shvedova 2-0 up
I'm so not excited by what I see

Oh dear. I was focusing on Masha's match since I expect Kvitty to sail through. Has Shitra surfaced?

KKK comes back from 0-40 to deuce but still drops serve for 1-2. Apparently conditions are poor - it's windy.

Shvedova also gifted 2 double faults, but it's Kvitova... 0-3

Sharapova is so winning this RG Don't jinx her! It's obviously going to be Shvedova-Errani for the title.

We have a new commentator on Eurosport. She's about as insightful as the average WTAW poster and she's a total Sharapova fangirl. And we have to hear phrases such as "the long-legged Russian".

Can we cancel this tournament NOW before things go too far.

Azarenka/Sharapova then Stosur/Sharapova. This year literally could not have given me less palatable Slam finals.

First point Maria wins on her second serve - in her third service game.

Have you seen that point at break point from Kvitova?? have you seen that miss??? Disgusting!

It seems like Kvitty was disgusted herself, so she produced 2 quality points. Now freaking hold you serve!

Masha gets the double break for 5-2! Good thing since we can't trust her with just the one service break.

Why don't WE have these jobs?! Seriously. I'm already looking forward to the Olympics and commentators who cover sports they're watching for the first time. I'll never forget the gymnastics coverage on Eurosport in 2008: "And this is gymnast XY from China" followed by complete silence during the rutine* and until the score comes up. "And the score is 15.650" * unless they fall And someone got paid for that!

Petra broken, you know why? because she keeps hitting long from non-threatening positions.
